Fans want Kajol more than Aishwarya Rai to make a comeback!

The two iconic actresses of Bollywood are waiting for a right script to make a comeback on big screen, while their loyal fans await their return to the celluloid. But, who is the audiences’ actress they are more desperate for?

When we asked our readers who they want to see make a comeback on big screen soon? Aishwarya Rai or Kajol! Their clear favourite was the vivacious Kajol! The actress, who holds a special place in the hearts of the audiences for her incredible performances in movies like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and My Name Is Khan was winner with 61% fans voting for her as most of the readers who participated in the photo poll favoured Kajol more than Aishwarya Rai, who received merely 39 % of votes.

Coincidentally, both the actresses went on a sabbatical for motherhood. Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Guzaarish (2010), and for Kajol it was We Are Family (2010). Though enough is written about their expected comebacks, nothing is clear yet.

Recently, in an interview with a film magazine, Kajol, who has got a Karan Johar for his short film in Bombay Talkies, but she said no. Later the role was lapped up by Rani Mukerji. Incidentally, now it’s said that Kajol might make a comeback with a film by Karan Johar.

Coming to Aishwarya, as per recent buzz, the actress might do an item song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Ram Leela. In some of her interviews, the actress has admitted that she is reading scripts and is willing to take the plunge, but she is not in a hurry. Meanwhile, she is enjoying her maternity leave, spending most of her time with daughter Aaradhya.

So, whether it’s Kajol or Aishwarya Rai! Not only fans, but Bollywood too wants to see these stunners on the silver screen soon.

Mumbai, Jan 10: Superstar Salman Khan on Friday announced that his Eid 2021 release will be titled "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali".

The 54-year-old actor took to Twitter to announce the movie which will be written and produced by filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala.

"Housefull 4" helmer Farhad Samjhi will be directing the film.

"Announcing my next film... 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'. Story and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Directed by Farhad Samji. Eid 2021," Salman tweeted.

The actor, whose last release "Dabangg 3" performed moderately at the box office, will next be seen in Prabhudheva's "Radhe". The film will hit the theatres on Eid this year.

New Delhi, Jun 6: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana took the internet by storm as he posted a picture of himself in the dark 'Joker' avatar on Saturday.

Artist Swapnil Pawar transformed Khurrana into the 'Joker' through his artwork which the actor posted on his Instagram.

"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it ... I'm an Agent of Chaos!" Khurrana quoted a famous dialogue from the film 'Joker' in the caption.

The 35-year-old actor, who hasn't played an outright negative role in his career further revealed his fascination for negative characters in the caption.

"Sinister, menacing, evil, cold, conniving yet brilliant, genius - have always thought of playing a negative character like Joker. Thank you @swapnilmpawar for reading my mind and this incredible artwork!" he wrote.

Khurrana believes that though it is good to portray different roles and he would love to play a negative character but the message at the end should be positive.

"I will be happy to play a negative character. I would love to play a morally corrupt person. That will be out of my realm. But the message, at the end of the day, should be positive. I don't want to endorse wrongdoings on screen," he said.

The new look of the 'Article 15' actor won hearts as the post was flooded with scores of comments from his fans.

Mumbai, Jan 19: An FIR has been registered against actor Shabana Azmi's driver after the car they were travelling in met with an accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Ms Azmi's driver has been identified as Amlesh Yogendra Kamat.

According to the police, a complaint has been registered by Rajesh Pandurang Shinde, the truck driver whose vehicle was hit from behind by Ms Azmi's car.

"Due to rash driving by the driver, the car hit the moving truck on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway which resulted in the accident," the FIR copy read.

Soon after the accident, Shabana Azmi was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai and was later shifted to the multi-specialty Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai's Andheri.

According to doctors, she has suffered a head injury and slight damage to the backbone. Her condition is said to be stable, although, she remains under medical observation.

Her husband lyricist Javed Akhtar, who was travelling with her, escaped with a minor injury.
