SRK_topsMumbai, Oct 25: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has topped a list of the most attractive personalities, beating the likes of Salman Khan and megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Shahrukh Khan is 'India's Most Attractive Personality' according to a 16-city 'survey' conducted by Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a Comniscient Group company, based on what it called a "36 Trait Matrix", to measure "brand attractiveness".

TRA calls itself an "actionable insights and brand intelligence company" dedicated to understanding and analysing stakeholder behaviour through two "globally acclaimed", proprietary matrices of "Brand Trust" and "Brand Attractiveness". TRA is also the publisher of what it calls 'The Brand Trust Report'.

Following SRK in "attractiveness quotient" are Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Aamir Khan is India's fourth "most attractive personality", followed by Mithun Chakraborty, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and others.

Altogether 25 personalities from the field of cinema, sports and social-spiritual, business and music, were listed in the report.

"While we often see attractiveness only in terms of physical beauty, it is much more. It is a function of four founding appeals -- rational, emotional, aspirational and communication. When the quotient is high on all four appeals, the overall attractiveness quotient becomes high," said N Chandramouli, TRA CEO, said.

Other notable entries were Rabindranath Tagore, Madhuri Dixit, Sourav Ganguly, Sushmita Sen, Chris Gayle, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Ambani, Karishma Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, Sunny Deol, Priyanka Chopra, Rekha, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Abhishek Bachchan.

Washington, Jul 16: Actor Chris Evans, better known as 'Captain America', made a six-year-old boy's day by sending him a personalised video message lauding his heroic act of saving his younger sister from a dog attack.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the aunt of the young boy (Bridger Walker from Cheyenne) posted on Instagram the story of how the boy saved his sister on July 9 and was horribly injured in the process.

She shared the story on the photo-sharing platform on Sunday and also posted few photos featuring the brother-sister duo as well as pictures of the injuries on Walker's face.

"After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he's finally resting at home," wrote the aunt (Nikki Walker).
"We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks," she added.

Moved by the young boy's story, Evans made a direct video message appreciating the boy for what he did, and how he is no less than a superhero.

He also promised to send the young kid an authentic 'Captain America' shield as a reward for his selfless, heroic act.

Evans' video message to the young boy was shared by the aunt on her Instagram profile.
In the video, Evans is saying, "Pal, you're a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless -- your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother.

Your parents must be so proud of you," Evans said in a video message that the family shared Wednesday. "Keep being the man you are, we need people like you. Hang in there, I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I've seen, I don't think there's much that can slow you down."

Towards the end, the 39-year-old actor told the boy he was sending the 'Captain America' shield to him, as the world needs more bravehearts like the little boy.

'Ramayana' is an Indian historical-drama epic television series, which aired during 1987-1988, created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar.

The show was a television adaptation of the ancient Indian Hindu epic of the same name, and is primarily based on Valmiki's Ramayan and Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas.

DD National also said that on public demand, amid the 21-day lockdown, it will broadcast Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan from Saturday.

Mumbai, Jul 6: Mumbai Police on Monday recorded the statement of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

The director arrived at Bandra Police Station on Monday morning to give his statement.

As per reports, late actor Sushant was approached by Bhansali for his 2013 film "Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela". However, Sushant could not take up the offer reportedly due to his contract with a production house. Later Ranveer Singh was signed for the role. The female lead was played by Deepika Padukone and the film turned out to be a commercial success.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has, over the past weeks, recorded statements of Sushant's family, staff, a few of his friends, and Rhea Chakraborty, besides filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra and actress Sanjana Sanghi who worked with the late actor in his upcoming last film "Dil Bechara".

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai residence on June 14. The actor's postmortem report stated his death was a suicide.

Within a few days of the actor's death, a complaint was filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in Bihar's Muzaffarpur. The case filed regarding the actor's death was against eight Bollywood personalities including Bhansali, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Ekta Kapoor.

Mumbai Police is investigating the death of the actor, though many fans on social media have been demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case.
