New Delhi, Nov 5: Vivek, 37, who essayed the super villain Kaal in 'Krrish 3' opposite Hrithik Roshan, said for an actor it takes some amount of courage to opt for a negative role especially when one has an image of a "hero" in the movies.

"When you have the image of a hero, a lead man in the movies, I think it becomes a brave and fearless decision to take on a super villain role. It took a lot of courage from my side. I always wanted to be a fearless actor. While doing 'Company', people said you should be doing something different like a love story or a launch pad film," Vivek said.

"But, it was a brave choice to do that film because I had to turn myself as a dark character. People appreciated that. Every time I have made these fearless choices in my life, I think I have done well," he added.

Helmed by Rakesh Roshan, 'Krrish 3' saw Hrithik reprising his role as the superhero after 'Koi... Mil Gaya' and 'Krrish'. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut.

Vivek, who found the role challenging, is euphoric about the success of the movie.

"It is definitely the most challenging role in my career. It was a very difficult role to pull. It was a not a very easy task for me. The kind of response and craze I'm getting from people which is something like redefining the Indian villain, it's quite fabulous," he added.

Vivek is planning to celebrate his success by going on a holiday with his wife Priyanka Alva and his around 9-month-old son Vivaan. The actor feels that it has been a lucky year for him because he became a father, saw the success of 'Grand Masti' and enjoyed his stint as one of the judges with Sonali Bendre and Anurag Basu in hit TV show 'India's Best Dramebaaz'.

"It has been a dream run, a golden run for me. My TV show was a big hit. This year's 'Grand Masti' cracked a 112 crores. And 'Krrish 3' looks positive to hit really high numbers. All thanks to the blessings of my family, the good wishes of my fans and my son. I think his coming has changed my life forever," he said.

Agartala, May 28: Tripura Police has registered a complaint against Bangladeshi singer Mainul Ahsan Nobel, who earned fame in the music reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' in Kolkata, for allegedly humiliating Prime Minister Narendra Modi over social media.

The complaint was filed by a resident of Belonia town in South Tripura district who is a student of Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University at Gandhinagar in Gujarat.

The complaint was filed on May 25, the person who is called Suman Paul said.

Nobel is not yet a popular singer in Bangladesh and has always been rejected by the audience of that country. He participated in the TV music reality show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in Kolkata, earned money, gained fame and returned to Bangladesh. If the person insults our prime minister it cannot be accepted. So I filed the FIR, Paul told reporters.

Belonia superintendent of police Jal Singh Meena confirmed that the complaint was registered and forwarded to Tripura Polices cyber crime cell.

The complaint was registered the same day it was filed at Belonia police station under Indian Penal code sections 500 (punishment for defamation), 504 (intentional insult), 505 (public mischief) and the IT Act.

We have registered the complaint and forwarded it to the cybercrime cell because it is not in the Indian cyberspace. We have started an investigation into the issue, the SP said.

Rajib Dutta, the officer-in-charge of Belonia police station said that as per the complaint the Bangladeshi singer had abused Modi in a Facebook post calling him a "mere chaiwala (tea seller)'.

Los Angeles, Mar 24: In a bizarre video shot from her rose petal filled bathtub, pop star Madonna has called the coronavirus pandemic "a great equaliser".

The music icon said the virus doesn't discriminate between rich and poor.

That's the thing about COVID-1. It doesn't care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.

It's the great equaliser and what's terrible about it is what's great about it. What's terrible about it is that it's made us all equal in many ways, and what's wonderful about is, is that it's made us all equal in many ways, Madonna said in the video while having a milky bath in tub full of roses.

The 61-year-old singer, who had to cancel two of her concerts in Paris due to coronavirus outbreak, also referenced her 1995 song Human Nature in the video saying we are all going down together .

According to the Johns Hopkins coronavirus tracker, the death toll from the virus globally has risen to 14,641 with 336,000 cases reported in 173 countries and territories.
