Mangaluru.June 7, 2019: A revolutionary technology in the making especially for the VFX and the film industry Facial realignment technology uses advanced programming and sophisticated 3D rendering to provide a visual image of another person and what makes it unique is it has real-time video output capability.

This Technology which brings a new dimension to the visual effects and film industry works on the principle of realigning and changing the facial features of one individual with that of the other person especially in the special effects industry where Computer generated imagery(CGI) is used.

 “The Real inspiration behind this was taking  into account the number of hours involved especially by visual effects artists take to mask an image in order to enhance it .while I made short films myself I realized how long it takes to make a visual imprint and how hard these people work and so began a two year journey of creating visual realignment .It was really hard at first as the images produced weren’t stable but persistence and dedication made me strive for excellence and i finally made a breakthrough and today I am proud to say I developed a new technology .I am a Mangalorean and proud of it”

Duane Thomas D’Souza based in Mangaluru completed his Bachelors in Business Management, holds a Diploma in computers specializing in Hardware and Networking.

Tumakuru, Jun 20: An SSLC student of Siddaganga Mutt here was admitted to the isolation ward of the district hospital on Saturday after he showed Covid-19 symptoms.

Health officials said that the student, a native of the Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, had returned to the Mutt via Raichur on June 15 for writing the SSLC examination scheduled to begin on June 25.

After he was admitted to the hospital the Health Department Officials kept three of his roommates under quarantine. Throat swab sample of the student has also been sent for testing.

Madikeri, Jul 24: Water from river Cauvery, which is deemed as holy, and mud from Kodagu, the birth district of river Cauvery was collected and will be sent to Ayodhya for use during groundbreaking (Bhoomi Pooja) ceremony for the construction of Ram Mandir on August 5.

Workers of Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Hindu Jagarana Vedike collected the soil and water from River Cauvery at Talacauvery Kshetra, the birthplace of river Cauvery.

Special pooja was offered at Talacauvery, praying for the timely completion of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.

Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.
