Farooque Karnire elected president of DKSC Jubail

Jubai: The 19th annual general body meeting of Dakhshina Karnataka Sunni Centre (DKSC), Al- Jubail division, was held on Feb 20, 2015, after the Jumah prayer at Coockxon Hotel in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was presided over by DKSC Jubail unit outgoing president Ismail Kinyahas taken the gathering to the milestones of DKSC the institution paraded towards success under the leadership of Syed AtakoyaThangal with the visual screen.

The meeting commenced at 1:30 p.m. with the recitation of holy Quran verses by Ismail Katipalla followed by prayer from Ahmed Usthad. Shamsuddin Balkunje and team proceeded with welcome song in a fabulous melody.

Inaugural speech was delivered by DKSC Central Committee working President Mr. Hameed Aramex Ullal, who conveyed the messages to audience for the better and brighter path, in order to make cheeriest to almighty.

Mr. Zakariya Muzain, Chief Guest of the function, spoke about the circumstances that led to the formation of DKSC. DkSC central committee Vice president Hathim Kanchi, General Secretary Anwar Hussain Gudinabali, Dammam zonal president Sulaiman Surinje, General Secretary AbubakkarBarwa  and central committee communication Secretary Azeez Athoor also were present.

Shiekh Balkunje and KH Rafeeq invited guests to the stage and outlined the GBM. Shamsuddin Balkunje read out the comprehensive annual report and financial report for the year 2014-15 by Mr Siraj.

Meeting continued with the small speech by newly appointed President of Jubail Unit Mr Farooque Karnire.  Youth Wing President Mr Sameer Ahammad Krishnapura requested the participants to support the DKSC in the days to come.

The newly elected Treasurer Abdul Gafoor Sajipa presented the vote of thanks. Programme was winded up with 3 swalath on prophet Muhammad(pbuh).

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member,  India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum  President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution. 

 Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.

Doha: Selvam aged 46 son of Subramanian hailing from Panakulam Village, Alangudi, Pudukkottai District in Tamilnadu province who worked as a technician, died in Qatar on April 24.

Due to challenging situation prevailing in both India & Qatar for body repatriation services, especially in Covid-19 atmosphere, Family is unable to progress further for past 2 months. At his stage Family of the deceased met Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Pudukkottai office bearers and requested to intervene and help out, and also agreed to bury the body in Qatar itself.

Hence, SDPI delegates communicated with well-known Indian Expatriate welfare Organization - Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF). QISF General Secretary Basheer Ahamed, Secretary Abdullatheef Madikeri and team collected the required documents from the family of the deceased and managed to clear all the necessary formalities from the police department, Health Department, Embassy of India and Hamad Medical Corporation within a short period of time and arranged for a peaceful burial of Mr. Selvam in Dukhan cemetery.

Manama: Kannada Sangha Bahrain President Mr. Pradeep Shetty and Vice President of Bahrain's prestigious KHK HEROES Foundation Mohammed Mansoor on Monday, May 11, met The Second Secretary (Consular & CW) of the Embassy of India, Bahrain Mr. P. K. Chowdhury in the Indian Embassy. 

The situation, problems and relief of Indians and Kannadigas residing in Bahrain during the COVID 19 Pandemic was discussed in detail. The distribution of food (dry ration) kits, as well as those seeking repatriation, was also discussed in the meeting.

When asked about the repatriation of distressed Kannadigas, the Second Secretary said that though the number of Kannadigas who wish to return home is not much compared to the rest of the states, still Embassy is compiling all the information and will do the needful soon. 

Mr. Shetty and Mr. Mansoor told the Second Secretary that those who are in problem can contact them and they are ready to do their best.
