Bengaluru, Aug 5: The Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services has deployed more than 200 personnel and boats to undertake the rescue operations in the flood affected Belagavi, Bagalkot, Raichur and Yadgiri Districts in the State and as many as 50 members of the State Disaster Response Force from the Belagavi and Kalaburagi Region besides boats and water tenders.
According to an official release here on Monday, Personnel have been deployed in Ingali, Manjari and Edeyurwadi in Belagavi District. Vadegera and Surpur Taluks in Yadgir District, Lingasugur and Devadurga Taluk in Raichur District.
Precautionary measures have been taken and personnel have been deployed in Bedakihal, Nippani, Kudachi, Harogeri, Raddarhatti, Jugula and Ainapura in Chikkodi Taluk in the same district.
