Bangalore, Oct 30: The Karnataka state government on Wednesday transferred four IAS?officers.
According to an official press release, the following are their new postings: K?V?Thrilok Chandra as?Deputy Commissioner, Kolar district, Kolar; D?K?Ravi as?Additional?Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Bangalore; R?Vinoth Priya as Additional Mission?Director, Sakaala, Bang-alore and K?S?Manjunath as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Kolar.
Mandya, Apr 3: Following the lock down in the country, people habit ventured into Liquor bottles worth several lakhs of rupees have been stolen at two places in the district.
Miscreants targeted a wine store at Chikka Mandya on the outskirts of the town in the early hours and also made away with the stock from a wine store near Hadly Circle in Malavalli town late night on Thursday. The incidents came to light on Friday.
A window was broken open at Chikka Mandya store and a wall was drilled at Malavalli store to take away the cartons, the police said.
United Marine Products, Karnataka and Goa has been awarded the MPEDA (Marine Products Export Development Authority) best exporter award for outstanding export performance of 2017-18 and second best exporter of 2018-19 from the govt of India under the category "Fishmeal, Fish oil and Allied products." held at Grand Hyatt, LuLu convention center, Kochi.
The award was conferred in the presence of Central Minister for state, commerce and Industry Mr Som Parkash and Honourable minister for fisheries, govt of Kerala Mercy kutty Amma. Mr Muhammad Sameer, Managing Partner, received the award.
