Mumbai, Jun 18: He may be one of the most promising young stars of Bollywood, but Ranbir Kapoor says his failures have taught him more than his successes.

The 35-year-old actor, whose last release "Jagga Jasoos" did not do well at the box office, overtook Fox Star Hindi's official Twitter handle today for a Q & A with his fans ahead of the release of his film "Sanju".

When one of the users asked him how he handles failures and stays positive, Ranbir said, "I have only learned from my failures and not from my successes. "

The actor added he always wanted to be in movies and is "grateful" to be able to pursue acting as a career.

"What I have learned since I became a star is that I am very grateful, that I get to do what I love!"

Asked how he celebrates success, Ranbir said, "By wiping the sweat off my forehead and muttering 'bach gaye' (good save) to myself."

The actor, who essays the role of Sanjay Dutt in the upcoming film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, said it is both "terrifying and exciting" to star in someone's biopic.

Ranbir is not active on social media. So, when one of the admirers asked him how it felt to be on Twitter, he said it is "strange" but he is happy to connect with fans on Father's Day.

The actor shared an exclusive snippet from "Sanju", in which he and Paresh Rawal, who plays veteran actor Sunil Dutt in the film, can be seen recreating the memorable 'Jaadu Ki Jhappi' moment from "Munna Bhai MBBS".

Asked if he quarrelled with his real-life father, Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir said he is scared of him and joked he does not even know his eye colour.

"I don't even know what his eye colour is because I've never looked into his eye. However, Happy Father's Day papa. I love you! (sic)" he wrote.

The actor, who previously worked with Rishi in "Besharam", said he would love to collaborate with him again.

Ranbir shared some quality time with his father when they recently watched Argentina play Iceland at 2018 FIFA World Cup

"I am a football fan and papa's a cricket fan! But we watched the Argentina-Iceland game together. It was fun educating him about the sport!" he said.

Also starring Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam K Ahuja, Anushka Sharma, among others, "Sanju" releases June 29.

Los Angeles: Kevin Feige may have confirmed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be getting its first transgender superhero but the Marvel Studios has said there is no definite timeline for that.

During a Q&A at the New York Film Academy, a fan had asked Feige about whether the studio plans to introduce LGBTQ characters into the MCU, "specifically the trans characters".

To this, the Marvel Studios president had replied, "Yes, absolutely, yes... And very soon. In a movie that we're shooting right now."

But sources in the company clarified to Variety that Feige only confirmed the first part of the comments that a trans character will appear in the MCU in future but he did not give a time period.

Though Feige did not reveal the name of the project that will introduce a LGBTQ character, fans speculate that he may have been referring to "The Eternals".

The film, which will feature an ensemble cast of Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington and others, is set to unveil a gay superhero in the MCU.

Marvel Studios has been making efforts to incorporate more diversity in its films after the success of "Black Panther", which featured a virtually all-black cast, and its first woman-fronted superhero movie "Captain Marvel".

"Avengers: Endgame", which became the highest grossing movie of all-time, had featured the MCU's first gay character, a cameo by director Joe Russo.

In 2020, the studio has two releases -- Scarlett Johansson-starrer "Black Widow" and "The Eternals" -- which have been helmed by women directors.

Mumbai, May 17: TV actor Manmeet Grewal, who worked on shows like "Aadat Se Majboor" and "Kuldeepak", committed suicide after struggling with dwindling finances amid lockdown, family friend-producer Manjit Singh Rajput said.

Grewal, who was originally from Punjab, hanged himself on Friday night at his Kharghar residence here where he lived with his wife. He was 32.

Rajput, who had known Grewal for nearly seven years, said the actor was facing "financial crisis" and wasn't able to earn due to the lockdown.

"He was going through a major financial issue and he was also in depression. The added pressure of not being able to repay loans amid this (no work phase) got to him. His wife is completely shocked and devastated," Rajput told PTI.

The producer said last rites of the actor were performed on Saturday.

Grewal was working on projects like a webseries and some commercials, which were put on hold due to the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
