Here's why Sonam Kapoor was scared to work with Hrithik Roshan

September 2, 2015

Mumbai, Sep 2: Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have just released a video where they have recreated the popular track Dheere Dheere from the Mahesh Bhatt's block-buster Aashiqui (1990). But Sonam has said she was initially scared to work with Hrithik! The actor's huge stardom apparently scared her but after working with him, she realised that it's amazing to work with the Krish star.

sonamPunjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has written, cmposed the music and lent his voice for the new version of Dheere Dheere.

"It's amazing working with him (Hrithik). It's a preconceived notion that you get really scared to work with someone who is like this huge mega star. And I think the only other mega star I have worked with is Salman Khan. The amazing thing about him (Hrithik) is that he is very relaxed and causal and what I like about him is that he treats people around him nicely," the Khoobsurat actor said.

Sonam liked Hrithik's humility and approach towards people: "There are lot of people who are not kind to others because they think they are bigger than everybody else but he is very normal and humble. There is a lot of humility and he is also open to everything and everybody. It's a very unusual quality in a person who has seen so much success in life...that's pretty incredible and that really makes a person grow."

Sonam found Hrithik charming and was quite okay romancing him on screen. "He is a hot guy, so it's nice when a good looking, charming, funny, nice guy is romancing you even if it is on screen. It feels good and it was fun," the actress said. Sonam had great time working with Hrithik and she is open to work with the actor again. "I would love to work with him in future. I really liked the song and I wanted to do it. My family had a really long association with T-Series and so it was amazing. I think it's a very cool song," she added.

Sonam Kapoor will next be seen opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhaan Payo feels that the presence of the Dabangg actor will ensure a good opening at box office. "The film stars Salman Khan and I am sure it's going to open (with) ridiculous figures. But you hope it does well for the producers. And I am doing another film with Fox so it better do well. I work really hard (for the films I do)," she said, adding, "I don't even remember what numbers my films do because I really don't think about it too much. I think one film Ranjahnna and then Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has done Rs 100 crores."

As per reports, Sonam will also be part of Homi Adajania's Hindi remake of Hollywood hit The Fault in Our Stars . Deepika Padukone's name was also rumoured to be considered for the same role. Reacting to the reports, Sonam said, "I guess you are talking about some other actor, why do people get confused. For now I am doing just two films. They are Prem Ratan Dhaan Payo and a film with Neeraja (Bhanot), both are with Fox...So I am set for the next one year at least, after that God knows," she said.

Neerja Bhanot is an upcoming biographical film directed by Ram Madhvani, wherein Sonam will be playing the role of the late senior flight attendant who saved 360 lives on Pan Am flight when it was hijacked in Karachi in 1986. Neerja at 23 became the youngest and first woman recipient of the prestigious Ashok Chakra award.
