‘I choose to live life on my terms’, tweets Pooja after parting

PoojaMumbai, Dec 10: Pooja Bhatt has announced her separation from husband Manish Makhija and the next day after her separation tweet, she explained the reason of her decision to move out of the marriage. Pooja tweeted, “I choose to live life on MY terms & refuse to perform to the gallery. Certificates don’t make or break marriages & relationships! Life does!,” tweeted Pooja Bhatt.

Pooja Bhatt and Manish Makhija who were married for 11 glorious years decided to part ways mutually. Pooja announced her separation from her husband on social networking site, “To all those who care & especially those that don’t my husband Munna & Me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage.

“Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever.

“The reason I explain Is because we are both part of the public domain. Our friends, well wishers & foes are free to now speculate. : )

“Staggered by the love & support displayed by intimate strangers as well as the silence from most of my friends! Love you all!” she tweeted.

Pooja and Manish, a former VJ and music composer met on the set of ‘Paap’ and they fell for each other. After few months of dating, the couple got married in Goa.

Despite break-off, Manish will be professional linked up with Pooja’s, he is composing music for her next film ‘Cabaret’.

Mumbai, Jul 3: Renowned Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan died early on Friday morning due to cardiac arrest. She was 71.

The three-time National Award winner, who had choreographed some of the most memorable songs in Hindi cinema, was not keeping well for some time.

She was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra last Saturday after she complained of breathing issues. The mandatory COVID-19 test done at the hospital showed a negative result.

“She passed away due to cardiac arrest at around 2.30 a.m. at the hospital,” Khan’s nephew Manish Jagwani said.

In a career spanning over four decades, Khan is credited with choreographing more than 2,000 songs, including Dola Re Dola from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, Ek Do Teen from Madhuri Dixit-starrer Tezaab and Ye Ishq Haaye from Jab We Met in 2007.

She last choreographed for Tabaah Hogaye, featuring Madhuri from filmmaker Karan Johar’s production Kalank in 2019.

New Delhi, Jun 2: 'Dabangg' actor Sonakshi Sinha was showered with greetings as she turned 33 on Tuesday.

Sonakshi's father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha took to social media to express gratitude that the family is spending time together during the lockdown period.

"This week is very special for my family, as we have a lot to thank for during this lockdown period. The family got to really spend some good quality time together," the veteran actor tweeted.

"Today we all celebrate our darling @sonakshisinha Sona's birthday. May she always be positive & abundantly blessed," his tweet further reads.

Actor Preity Zinta also made sure that she wishes the 'Kalank' actor as she posted a picture with her on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday my darling Sona. Wish you all the wonderful things, today and always. Keep Smiling and shining always. Love you loads @aslisona," the 'Kya Kehna' actor wrote in the caption.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra also posted a picture of himself with Sonakshi on his Instagram stories and wrote, "@aslisona Happy Birthday Beautiful."

Actor Huma Qureshi too extended birthday greetings to Sonakshi by posting a picture with her on her Instagram stories.

Huma wished her friend in what seems like a code language as she wrote, "You are...this friendship..how to...Love...Dosti.." along with the picture.

"Don't want to use words, you know what I mean..right@aslisona," she further wrote.

Sonakshi was last seen in the third installment of her hit film series 'Dabangg' which was released last year in December.

Mumbai, Aug 7: Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on August 2.

The police have recovered a suicide note.

Initially, an accidental death case was registered which was later converted into FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.

Further investigation by Mumbai's Kashimira Police is underway.
