Los Angeles, Mar 25: Actress Michelle Rodriguez says she went through an emotional upheaval after the demise of her "Fast and Furious" co-star Paul Walker in 2013.

Walker died in a car accident. He was just 40.

The 36-year-old actress said she tried to "ignore" the pain she was feeling after losing Walker by "travelling", reported Entertainment Weekly.

"I actually went on a bit of a binge. I went crazy a little bit .... I went pretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.

"I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder. I was travelling. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling."

Rodriguez said Walker was the "deepest guy" she knew and while she spent months trying to come to terms with the reason why he had been so cruelly taken away at the age of 40, earlier this year she told herself to stop "hiding" and started to piece herself back together.

"I could see Paul once every two years and just know there was another human on the planet who's deep like me, who loves like that.

"When that disappears, you wonder, 'Wait a minute, what do I hold on to?' There was nothing to tether me to this existence. I just woke up (one morning) with a profound respect for living. I stood tall one day and I said, 'You know what, Michelle? Stop hiding. Go manifest.' And all of a sudden, I picked myself up and started hustling," she said.

She had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 113k followers on Instagram.

Mumbai, Apr 2: Ramayan, the over three-decade-old TV series based on Hindu mythology, garnered 170 million viewers in four shows over the last weekend in its new avatar, the BARC said on Thursday.

This catapulted the Ramanand Sagar production as the highest watched serial in the Hindi general entertainment space ever, the Broadcast Audience Research Council said.

The show was relaunched last Saturday amid the gloomy times of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a lot of thrust laid by the government machinery to popularise the series.

BARC's chief executive Sunil Lulla said the numbers notched up by the series was a bit surprising and called the move as a brilliant one by the Prasar Bharti.

He said eventually, we will also see advertisers flock the series which will be running for a few more days.

The inaugural show of the series on Saturday morning had 34 million viewers glued to their TV sets watching and enjoyed a rating of 3.4 per cent, while a telecast the same evening had 45 million viewers and a rating of 5.2 per cent.

The show bettered its performance on Sunday, with 40 million and 51 million people watching it in the morning and evening telecasts, respectively.

New Delhi, Jul 30: On his 47th birthday on Thursday, actor Sonu Sood announced three lakh jobs for migrant labourers on the job portal 'Pravasi Rojgar' that he had launched earlier this month.

The 'Dabangg' actor who has launched several initiatives for helping migrant labourers of the country made the announcement about the additional three lakh jobs on his Instagram account.

Sood posted two flyers of the employment application and shared that the jobs came with additional benefits like PF and ESI.

"On my birthday a small initiative from my side...3 lakh jobs tied up for Pravasirojgar.com. All these will provide good wages, PF, ESI, and other benefits," he wrote in the caption.

He further went on to thank the organisations that had partnered with him for the initiative.
"Thank you AEPC, CITI, Trident, Quesscorp, Amazon, Sodex, Urban Co, Portea, and all others for creating these opportunities with me. #AbIndiaBanegaKamyaab @pravasirojgar," he wrote.

Hailed as the 'messiah' of migrant labourers, Sood has helped hundreds of thousands of migrants to reach their native places amid the coronavirus induced lockdown when many like them were walking back to their homes.

Besides labourers, he has also helped students and other people stranded in different parts of the country amid the lockdown.
