Ibraiz Khan elected KMCA president, Khaleel Ahmed general secretary

Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association organized its annual general body meeting on Friday, 11th May 2018 at Maaza Restaurant.

The meeting was attended by the Excom 2017 - 2018 and the members including founder members, senior members, and regular members. Meeting started at 5.00pm with qirath by Ahmed Saeed Assadi.

The rules and safety guidance was informed. Ahmed Saeed Assadi was the Master of ceremony and conducted the program as per KMCA bylaws.

President Abdullah Monu welcomed the members and gave overview of the programs conducted during his tenure as president.

General Secretary Saquib Raza Khan presented the annual report on the programs. Treasurer Fayaz Ahmed presented the financial report for the year 2017 - 2018.

The revised by-laws as recommended by Indian Embassy was adopted by moving the motion and approval by members. The Excom for 2017 - 2018 was dissolved by Past President and Advisory committee chair Ahmed Saeed Assadi. Election for the New committee was held and the New Excom for the year 2018 - 2019 was elected unanimously by the members.

Jals-e-Uchila get-together held in Dammam

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Living with cornavirus: Indian Social Forum, Dammam holds webinar

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

KSCC holds blood donation drive in Dubai

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.
