IFF holds workshop for 'Hajj Volunteer in Dammam

Dammam: India Fraternity Forum (IFF), Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, organized 'Hajj Volunteer Training Workshop 2019" in Dammam at Al-Ryan Policlinic Hall. 

IFF has been fielding Hajj volunteers since 19 years in partner with Indian Consulate & Marakizil Ahya. This year for Hajj- 2019, we will be fielding more than 1,500 Indian volunteers from various parts of Saudi Arabia. 

Volunteers were trained for Map reading, medical service, guiding the stranded pilgrims, responding to emergency situation, communication with pilgrims, dealing with all linguistic pilgrims of different nation. The half-day program is attended by 200 volunteers from Jubail, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa and other parts of Eastern province. 

Key trainers of the day Abdul Raoof and Shareef Jokatte delivered an informative training workshop while Abdullah Kutyadi and Ameer Moulavi emphasized the ethics and values of serving Guests of Allah.

The training was followed by closing ceremony in which prominent guests were present. ‘Dedication and Timely hajj volunteer service by IFF has been much valuable and highly appreciated. Certainly it has become a foot print for many to follow’ said Mr. Jainuddeen (Manager, SIPCHEM Jubail) while delivering his key note speech. The ceremony was presided & directed by Mohammad Imthiyaz, Regional President of IFF, Eastern Province. The chief trainer of the day Mr. Abdul Raoof was awarded with ‘Guest of honor’ momento by Jaiuddeen. Mr. Moosakkutty, President IFF Kerala Jubail and Mr. Nazrul Islam Choudhury, President IFF Delhi Zone conveyed motivational words to the volunteers.

Athaulla Uchila, President IFF Karnataka Eastern Province and Ashraf Puttur,  General Secretary Indian Social Forum Eastern Province were present at the ceremony.

Mr. Sajid valavoor, General Secretary IFF Karnataka Eastern Province delivered the vote of thanks and Mr. Mohmmad Firoz hosted for the entire ceremony.

The Overseas Indian Cultural Congress (OICC), Bahrain, has charted aircrafts to repatriate stranded expatriates to India. 

Boby Parayil, General Secretary, OICC National Committee, Bahrain has thanked all those who supported in this cause.

“The aircrafts were not licensed and were in crisis until the last minute. Finally, Mohammed Mansoor, president of Bahrain chapter of Indian Overseas Congress approached IOC Middle East in charge Dr Arathi Krishna, who helped get permission to operate flight to Kozhikode,” he said in a release. 

All mandatory approvals from the Foreign Ministry of Affairs and other government officials were accomplished by Dr Arathi Krishna. OICC has expressed gratitude to her for her timely support, he said. 

OICC is also grateful to former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy for doing necessary arrangements to get all the approvals for flight landing in Kerala, he added.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.
