IFF Tabuk hosts ‘Pravadi Sneha 2015’ as part of Seerat-un-Nabi 2015

Tabuk:  In Order to educate the public about the life and message of Prophet Mohammad, India Fraternity Forum organized a campaign throughout Saudi Arabia called “Seerat-un-Nabi 2015”.

IFF has organized ‘Pravadi Sneha’ campaign throughout the western province of Saudi Arabia. As part of this the Tabuk unit of IFF conducted a program on January 9, in Fraternity House Tabuk.

Abdul Hakeem Guruvankere (IFF Tabuk) inaugurated the function by a beautiful Qirath. Abdul Latheef Uppinnagadi (IFF Tabuk) presided over the function and explained about the activities conducted by IFF throughout the GCC.

Abdul Rahman Dharimi spoke about the problems of Muslim community in India and urged to the Muslim to be united. Abdul Salim, President of IFF Khaiber Area, was the chief speaker of the function. He called upon the people to take Prophet Mohammad as an example who changed the complete society of the Arabs who were living in darkness and wild in just 23 years. Mohammad Monu (D.K Sunni Center), Janab Ummar Valachil (former president D.K Sunni Center), Janab Younus (President IFF Kerala) and other dignitaries were on the stage.

Mohammad Mustafa (IFF Tabuk) gave the welcome speech, Janab Mohammad Anees Salmara (IFF Tabuk) conducted the program and Azar Suratkal (President IFF Tabuk unit) gave the thanks giving speech.

The campaign was inaugurated in the holy place of Madina on 2nd January,  Janab Abdul Salim  the president of this function requested to follow the footsteps of Prophet Mohammad throughout our life. Janab Asif (President, IFF Medina Unit) Janab Abdul Basheer (D.K.S.C) and Janab Ashraf Taiba (New Welfare) were present on this occasion.

Badruddin (IFF Madina) welcomed the gathering and Raheen Amin proposed vote of thanks.  The campaign will conclude on January 29 in ‘Mahatta Raheli’, Jeddah.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

Kuwait: Friday Forum Kuwait conducted its 12th inter-school Islamic Elocution Competition at Hotel Rajadhani Palace, Khaitan on 1st January 2020. 

The competition, which was held in the senior and junior categories had participation from 15 Indian Schools across Kuwait comprising of 43 students. In the senior category, Ayisha Wafiya of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Efrem Joseph of Indian Community School, Amman won the second prize. 

In the junior category, Hima Jameela of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Fadhel Kandapath of Fahaheel Al Wataniya Indian School won the second prize. Nawaal Yaseen Ebrahim of Indian Community School (SR), Salmiya and Rhruthunanda of Indian Learners Own Academy, Abbasiya won the consolation prizes in senior and junior categories respectively.

This year, the event was fully conducted by the ladies wing of Friday Forum. Dr. Thasneem Amir, Ibtisam Basheer, Toast Masters Ola Rasheed, Fatma Abduhedeid, Shazia Thabassum and Marium Rangat were the judges for the competition in senior and junior categories. The event started with the Qira’at by Saneera Riyas, followed by welcome speech by Dr. Sajna Mohammed. 

The prizes were distributed to winners by Shahina Mansoor, Femitha Faseeh, Dr.Thasneem Amir, Dr. Sajna Mohammed, Zeenath Yacoub, Safna Sayam and Saneera Riyas. The Souvenir for the program - “INSPERIA 2020”- was released during the event by the chief editor Farha Abdul Rahman. The program was compered by Thanveera Noushad and the program convenor Subeana Shabeer conveyed the vote of thanks.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.
