Bengaluru, Apr 7: The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Saturday clarified that a so called Intelligence report that is doing rounds on social media, stating that Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency not safe for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, was a fake report.

The Intelligence DIG has been asked to conduct a probe into the fake report, the CMO stated in a press release.

"The Intelligence department has not given any such report. The report is false and fabricated. The ADGP post in the Intelligence department is lying vacant. Moreover, the Intelligence reports are usually in Kannada, not English," the CMO explained.

HDK endorses report

Meanwhile, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy has endorsed the alleged intelligent report. "The Intelligence report has cautioned Siddaramaiah against contesting from Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency. It says that the JD(S) leaders, including the sitting MLA from the party G T Devegowda, are mobilising Vokkaliga votes and that contesting from Chamundeshwari is not a viable option for CM," Kumaraswamy said

"The report also recommended the CM alternative options. It suggested that Varuna (Mysuru), Basavakalyan (Bidar), Gangavati (Koppal) and Shantinagar (Bengaluru) constituencies are safe for the chief minister," the JD(S) leader said.

Tumakuru, Jan 8: RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat stoked controversy on Wednesday by stating that 'Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is full of traitors'.

He was addressing the media after taking part in a pro-CAA rally organised by National Citizens Forum near the office of the deputy commissioner of the district here.

Bhat said, “JNU is full of traitors. Congress and communist parties have been generating anti-nationals there. But there is no need to close the university down. Modi government will handle it.”

“Nationalism should be infused among the students there through love and trust. They should be made to realize what the truth is,” he said.

Unfortunate, still he has poor followers to believe him.

He is safe at home and sacrifiers are poor boys who blindly believe and obey him.

This guy is sick and irriversible.

God will reward him so that his followers believe his exploiting orders.

Malappuram (Kerala), Feb 19:  children of a couple in a span of nine years has raised suspicion among police personnel here who have registered a case following a complaint after a three-month-old child of the family died on Tuesday and was buried.

Police exhumed the body, which was buried in the morning, and took it to the district hospital at Tirur for post-mortem.

The infant was the sixth child of the couple, police said.

"A case has been registered (for unnatural death) in the matter to verify the death beyond any suspicion raised by locals since five other children of the couple had died in the past nine years," a senior police official said.

The couple had three boys and three girls of which the third girl child lived till the age of four and the rest died before turning one.

"The post-mortem will take place today itself. We are collecting the medical records of the children who had passed away earlier.

We will identify the cause of death after analysing the records and discuss the matter with forensic doctors," Tirur Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) said.

However, relatives claimed that there was nothing suspicious in the death of the children and that doctors have said it was due to some genetic disease.

"The post-mortem of the third child was conducted and the doctors said the death was due to some genetic problems. They said they were helpless," a relative said, adding that the family was ready to face any probe.

According to the locals, the couple had claimed that the children have died due to epilepsy.

Sources said the baby was taken to a hospital but was dead prior to reaching the hospital early this morning.
