Jeddah: Indian Engineers Forum organises seminars for engineers

Jeddah, Dec 22: Indian Engineers Forum, Jeddah chapter, organised a quarterly event with three seminars at Village Restaurant on December 19.

The programme started with recitation of Holy Quran by IT chairman Engineer Muazzam Sayeed.

Engr. Mohammed Fazil Ali lecturer, King Abdul Aziz University delivered lecture on 'Cloud Computing', another lecture on Business Process Re-engineering, was delivered by Engr. Nadeem Ahmed Ali, while lecture on Renewable Energy was delivered by Engr. Anjum Iqbal.

Engr. Mustafa Khan, Vice president, Administration officially welcomed the speakers and guests. He also highlighted the aims and objectives of the forum and invited new engineers to join the forum to improve their talents and Skills.

Engr. Mohammed Fazil in his lecture described Cloud Computing as a useful tool which is transforming IT Technology to Utility Services Industry.

Engr Anjum Iqbal spoke on the subject ‘Renewable Energy Solutions for Saudi Arabia’. He pointed out benefits and opportunities of renewable energy Projects in Saudi Arabia.

Engr. Nadeem Ahmed in his talk on ‘Business Process Re-engineering’ said improvement in company performance can come only through Innovation and rethinking afresh; time has come to stop paving the cow paths and re-engineer ourselves activities.

Mir Ateequr Rahman, Vice President, Executive, said these lectures and workshops definitely bring change in our working environment, Engr. Ubaid treasurer of the forum requested non-members to join this professional forum and get benefitted.

According to Engr. Abdul Rahim chief coordinator these lectures are very practical and thought-provoking which will help engineers improve their performance in their work places.

Engr. Nayeem Qureshi chairman of civil subcommittee requested engineers to join PMP coaching classes conducted by IEF in coming months.

The programme was anchored by Engr. Syed Nasir Khursheed General Secretary of the forum.

In his presidential speech, Engr. Mohammed Sayeeduddin President of the forum appreciated the efforts of speakers and requested members of the forum to utilize this platform for upgrading and sharpening their skills.

Chairman Mechanical Faculty Engineer Al Amaan Ahmed proposed vote of thanks. On behalf of IEF, he expressed deep sense of appreciation for speakers for their excellent coverage on their topics and thanked all the attendees.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dubai: In response to UAE health authorities encourage blood donation campaign Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta - U.A.E, conducted blood donation camps on April 22 at Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Khaldiya and on 23/04/2020 at Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, Sharjah.

The Abu Dhabi camp was inaugurated by Head of Department of Abu Dhabi Blood Bank, On this occasion she gave brief inputs of the benefits and features of blood donation, urged the participants to spread greater awareness about the importance of blood donation and congratulated the AKO members for their selfless social service and wished all the best for their future endeavours.

Abdul Rasheed, President of AKO presided over the function and Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta Vice President Mr. Mohammad Nasir appreciated the effort for organizing this camp and gathering youths to be a part of this noble cause as life is precious on this earth. "Each drop of blood counts much, so kindly take it as personal compassion to help unknown who requires blood with no relatives to help him/her.

In Abu Dhabi 41 and in Sharjah 49 donors participated in this event and donated their blood. It was nice to see cheerful smiling donors doing a great community work.
Blood bank staff and AKO Organizing team enthusiastically arranged the campaign which was witnessed by many members and leaders of various community organization of Karnataka.

Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta President briefed the participates about the ongoing social work of AKO in this current COVID-19 pandemic grim situation AKO is working on following fields: AKO Members have stepped up to support needy community during the Covid-19 pandemic have gone out of their way to comfort those struggling to deal with the challenging situation.

While thousands of people continue to #StayHome, many are in quarantine, there are those on visit visa and stuck here, others have lost jobs or face salary cuts. AKO in coordination with UAE Embassy and other social organization have been able to ensure basic necessities are fulfilled with food provisions and medical assistance to needy.

Providing counselling to bachelors and families those are on quarantine and isolation.

The organizers thanked everybody especially, UAE Health Authority, Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Khaldiya and Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, Sharjah, Management and staff as well as donors for their time and support for the good cause.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
