Jubail: 16 teams to take part in JF-Expertise Champions Trophy 2016

Jubail: Cricket lovers’ much awaited annual cricket tournament ‘JF- Expertise Champions Trophy 2016’ will be held from April 21 to 29 April on Thursdays & Fridays at 6 p.m. at the famous Al-Falah Ground, Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

As many as 16 prominent teams from Jubail and Dammam would be taking part in the coveted tournament of the Eastern Province.

Expertise Contracting Co. Ltd. has endorsed its support in the most generous way and for this year as well it remains the main sponsor for this event. The fixtures for this tournament were finalized through a draw conducted on April 10th at Cook Xon Restaurant.

Mr.Mohammed Anshif from Expertise graced the occasion with his presence along with the captains from all participating teams. JF cricket Event Chairman Mr. Althaf Ahmed, JF Jubail unit president Mr. Fayaz Ahmed, Vice president Mr.Hanif Shirva, JF Ex-Ameer, Mr. Mohammed Farook Portfolio and executive members called for support and participation required from all guests. Mr. Zeeshan Ali compered the programme.

JF aspires to build on its 28th years of dedication and commitment to its motto of ‘Education is the key to success’ and feels that such activities should not only help communities come together and connect, but moreover, should serve as an ideal platform to strengthen and supplement its serving hands to reach out to more deprived families, so that they become more a self-reliant society.

Activities of JF in the fields of facilitating education, hostels and healthcare, it is also currently pursuing the JF Skill Development Centre, JF Academy projects.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Kuwait: Friday Forum Kuwait conducted its 12th inter-school Islamic Elocution Competition at Hotel Rajadhani Palace, Khaitan on 1st January 2020. 

The competition, which was held in the senior and junior categories had participation from 15 Indian Schools across Kuwait comprising of 43 students. In the senior category, Ayisha Wafiya of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Efrem Joseph of Indian Community School, Amman won the second prize. 

In the junior category, Hima Jameela of Indian Community School, Khaitan bagged the first prize and Fadhel Kandapath of Fahaheel Al Wataniya Indian School won the second prize. Nawaal Yaseen Ebrahim of Indian Community School (SR), Salmiya and Rhruthunanda of Indian Learners Own Academy, Abbasiya won the consolation prizes in senior and junior categories respectively.

This year, the event was fully conducted by the ladies wing of Friday Forum. Dr. Thasneem Amir, Ibtisam Basheer, Toast Masters Ola Rasheed, Fatma Abduhedeid, Shazia Thabassum and Marium Rangat were the judges for the competition in senior and junior categories. The event started with the Qira’at by Saneera Riyas, followed by welcome speech by Dr. Sajna Mohammed. 

The prizes were distributed to winners by Shahina Mansoor, Femitha Faseeh, Dr.Thasneem Amir, Dr. Sajna Mohammed, Zeenath Yacoub, Safna Sayam and Saneera Riyas. The Souvenir for the program - “INSPERIA 2020”- was released during the event by the chief editor Farha Abdul Rahman. The program was compered by Thanveera Noushad and the program convenor Subeana Shabeer conveyed the vote of thanks.
