Mumbai, Aug 29: Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan had the most "special" moment of her life as she walked the ramp flaunting her baby bump.

The 34-year-old actress got emotional and said it will be a walk to remember for her as she and her baby took to the ramp together for the first time.

Kareena turned designer Sabyasachi's muse for his latest collection that brought the curtains down at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.

"I must say it's not one but two of us. It's a very special moment. I have never walked for Sabyasachi before, we were not able to do a film together. But this moment is very special.

"It's going to be in the history. I am actually very emotional right now. It is a moment I want everyone to cherish. I would like to say Sabyasachi is not a designer he is an artist. He creates painting. I am really honoured to wear this artist," Kareena said post the show.

The "Ki & Ka" star dressed in a heavily embroided olive green lehenga and a kurti patterned choli with dupatta on her head, looked every inch of a regal bride.

Her look was completed by a beautiful maang tika.

The actress was asked if the baby kicked while she was walking on the ramp, to which she replied with laugh saying, "I was too nervous to realise if it happened."

Kareena is being praised by the industry for not letting the pregnancy come in between her work and the actress said she will never go away from the camera.

"I have always maintained that I work till I die. Acting is my passion. My work is my passion and as long as I am working it makes me happy and that joy shows on face. I am going to continue working."

The Bollywood diva was all praise for Sabyasachi and said even her mother-in-law, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, is a big fan of his creations.

"It is pleasure to walk for him. He works magic with his masterstroke. Even my mother-in-law is a huge admirer of his work," she said praising the designer.

The royal collection titled "Illuminate" revolved around the theme of shimmer, with the colour palette including shades of dust, smoky, shimmery metallics along with strong contrasting jewel tones, like a deep emerald, a rich oxblood, a coffee maroon among others.

Sabyasachi stood by his signature patterns, but this time also ventured into the arena of western wear mixing it with theme of Indian embroidery.

"This time around I wanted to create few dresses. I decided to make some short evening wear, but kept the Indianess alive with my signature work. I can't leave that as it is the essence of my brand. I am an Indian designer and I can never let that go away from myself," Sabyasachi said.

The vintage range drew its inspiration from the era of 1920s to 1960s.

It weaved three stories together, first the night clubs in Paris in the 1920's, second from the Bauhaus school of strict architecture and the third was the celebration of finest quality of needle craft from all across the world.

The designer, who made his runway debut with Lakme Fashion Week in 2002, said doing the grand finale was like a homecoming.

The show was attended by Kareena's sister Karishma Kapoor, who couldn't stop adoring her younger sibling as she took to the ramp.

Karishma was seen clicking Kareena's pictures and cheering for her throughout her long ramp walk.

Actress Deepika Padukone, who has been the designer's one of the favourite muses, also attended the show.

Actress Kajal Aggarwal and producer-director Divya Kumar Khosla were the other celebrity guests.

London, May 8: Actor Florence Pugh says the most terrifying aspect of starring in the upcoming superhero film "Black Widow" was doing the Russian accent.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe's stand-alone film, the Oscar-nominated actor plays Yelena Belova, a sister-figure to Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff/ the titular Black Widow who was trained in the Red Room.

"I was scared because my Russian accent was going to be out there and I didn't know what it sounded like.

"I'm also playing a character who no-one's seen before but they've read about her. I didn't know whether people were going to hate me!" Pugh told ELLE UK for its June issue.

The 24-year-old actor also said the idea of joining the MCU itself was quite "daunting".

"When you think of Marvel, it's big and daunting. Especially being a relatively small actor to look at it and go, 'Oh! I'm going to be a part of this', that's a big decision," she said.

"Black Widow", which was scheduled to hit the theatres on May 1, will now release on November 6 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Directed by Cate Shortland, the film also stars David Harbour and Rachel Weisz.

Mumbai, Aug 1: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that Sushant Singh Rajput case should not be politicised or used to create friction between Maharashtra and Bihar.

Amid the ongoing criticism faced by the Mumbai Police following an investigation into Rajput's death case, the Chief Minister stressed that Mumbai Police is not "inefficient" while appealing those who have any evidence in regard to the case to step forward.

"Mumbai Police is not inefficient. If anyone has any evidence they can bring it to us and we will interrogate and punish the guilty. Please do not use this case (Sushant Singh Rajput death case) as an excuse to create friction between Maharashtra and Bihar," Thackeray said on Friday.

"Bringing politics in the case is the most deplorable thing to do," he added.

Maharashtra government has filed a caveat before the Supreme Court in the Rajput's death case.

Earlier, Bihar government and Rajput's family have filed caveats in the top court seeking to challenge actor Rhea Chakraborty's petition that sought transfer of the FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai in the actor's death case.

"After Bihar government and Rajput's family filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, Maharashtra government has filed a caveat before the SC today to ensure that no order is passed in Rhea Chakraborty's petition case without hearing its (Maharashtra) side," said Sachin Patil, standing counsel for Maharashtra Government.

A caveat is a legal process, in which the party which had filed it before the concerned court, shall have to be heard definitely before the concerned court passes any order in future.

Bihar Police has sought the assistance of Mumbai police to probe the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Mumbai police Crime Branch officials told ANI. However, the Police are still considering their request.

Bihar Police team reached after an FIR was filed by late actor's father KK Singh against Chakraborty in Bihar under several sections including abetment of suicide.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.

Mumbai, Jul 28: Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari has urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to look into the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death and direct the state police to register an FIR in this connection.

Wishing Thackeray on Monday on his birthday, Tiwari, who has acted in Bhojpuri films, pointed out that over 40 days have passed since the death of Rajput, but an FIR is yet to be registered.

"Many happy returns of the Day @CMOMaharashtra Shri Uddhav Ji, on this day I request with folded hands to give justice to Sushant who died 43 days ago, but no FIR has been registered so far. I hope you will help. Please do justice to millions of SSR fans," he tweeted.

Bollywood actor Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14, which the police said was a case of suicide. His death had triggered an outcry from several quarters alleging that the late actor, who hailed from Bihar, was a victim of nepotism in the film industry.

The lawmaker from Northeast Delhi's Lok Sabha seat, who visited the deceased actor's family in Patna last month had then said: "Sushant's father and sister requested me to take up the issue and get him justice. It was really a sentimental moment for me".

Previously, Tiwari had demanded a CBI investigation into the matter

According to the police, statements of 40 people including film critic Rajeev Masand, director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and filmmaker Aditya Chopra and actor Rhea Chakraborty have been recorded in the investigation so far.
