Karnataka DCM visits STP accident spot, seeks report from IISc

Bengaluru, Jun 19: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara, who is also Bengaluru Incharge Minister, today visited the accident site of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), where two Engineers and one a supervisor were killed on June 17 and said that the state government will conduct a thorough inquiry into the incident and seek a report from the experts in the Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) to know about any technical flaws.

Speaking to newsmen at the accident site here on Wednesday, he took exception to the officials concerned for not taking safety measures to prevent such disaster.

Mangaluru, May. 21: The Bearys Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI Mangaluru) is held the Eid Kits distribution program on Wednesday, 27th day of Ramadan (20.05.2020) at BCCI office in Kankanady, Mangaluru. 

It distributed around 250 kits including some cash amount to the needy

BCCI president Mr S. M. Rasheed Haji, vice president Mr. Abdul Rauf Puthige, Administrative Secretary Mr. Nissar F. Mohammed, and Executive Members  Mr. Mumtaz Ali B.M., 
Mr. Mohammad Haris,
Mr. Mohammad Sharief, Mr.  Asif Soofikhan were present.

Mandya, Jul 6: With a journalist from Srirangapatna testing positive for Covid-19, the Mandya District Journalists Association was sealed as a precautionary measure.

Association President K C Manjunath said on Monday that as the reporter has tested positive for Covid-19, it was voluntarily decided to seal down the premises for another month.
