Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 25: Kerala Government is committed to ensure gender justice and implement the September 2018 Supreme Court verdict allowing the entry of women of all ages into Sabarimala temple, Governor Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam said in the Assembly on Friday.
Delivering the customary address on the opening day of the Budget session, the Governor said "the Government is duty bound to implement the judgement and uphold our constitution."
As part of carrying forwarding the progressive values of the renaisance movement, the government had extended support to the suggestions of social organizations to mobilise a 'Women Wall' across the state as a symbol of the united will of Kerala women in their struggle for gender justice.
