Mumbai, May 6: Madhuri Dixit Nene, who is making her acting debut in Marathi cinema with 'Bucket List', said doing a film in her native language was always on her wish list.

"My bucket list is always expanding. I like taking up challenges and once it ends I take up new challenges, so it never ends. Doing a Marathi film was on my bucket list.

"Marathi cinema is in its golden phase. Such good subjects, technically they are so good. It was one of the biggest things on my bucket list that I have crossed out," Madhuri said at the trailer launch of the film last evening.

Madhuri made her acting debut with 'Abodh' in 1984 but it took her over three decades to star in a Marathi film.

"I was waiting for the right Marathi script to come my way. This is a great story. It is about every day women and how she gets lost. She forgets who she is as she does things for her family. When she gets on this journey and tries to complete a bucket list of someone else, she finds herself.

"I was a housewife for a brief period and they all go through this. I think they all would relate to this," Madhuri said.

With this film, Madhuri has again collaborated with her 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' co-star Renuka Shahane after a gap of 24 years, and with Ranbir Kapoor , who has a guest appearance in the movie.

"It was wonderful working with both of them. I first met Renuka on the sets of 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' and we got along immediately. We both are from Maharashtra and had the same cultural background. I was happy working with her again. Our relationship is different in this film. We share an emotional bond in this film.

"Ranbir is one of my favourite actors. I appreciate his work. We had a great time. He was gracious to do this film. He is a charming boy," Madhuri said.

Director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar said the idea for this film came from an article that he read online few years back and thought of developing it into a script.

"I was working on it for two years or so and I wanted Madhuri in this film. I am glad she said yes," he added.

Actor Sumeet Raghavan, who is paired opposite Madhuri in the film, said working with her was a great experience.

"When we talk about Madhuri, your eyes just become wide open and jaws drop. This was the same feeling when the director told me I am opposite Madhuri. It was a fan-boy moment for me," Raghavan said.

"Its been 30 years she is working but when we were doing scenes I never felt that she has so much experience," he added.

The film releases on May 25.

Mumbai, Mar 7: A 'farm-to-fork' themed restaurant 'He-Man' situated on National Highway in Haryana's Karnal -- franchised by veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra -- has been sealed for building law violations, officials said on Saturday.

The Karnal Municipal Corporation sealed the franchise outlet on Friday for not furnishing the change of land use (CLU) certificate and illegal constructions, an official said.

The restaurant is located on National Highway 44 on the outskirts of Karnal, some 150 km from here.

The franchise was given to Delhi-based businessman Pramod Kumar.

"After the success of my restaurant Garam Dharam Dhaba, I am now announcing a farm-to- fork themed restaurant 'He-Man'," Dharmendra had announced on Instagram after its launch on Valentine's Day.

Karnal Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav said the action was initiated as the restaurant owner did not respond to MC notice on the issue.

Los Angeles, Jul 14: US officials on Monday found the body of "Glee" actress Naya Rivera in the Californian lake where she drowned last week during a boat trip with her four-year-old son.

Rivera's body was retrieved and an initial examination found no evidence of foul play or suicide, Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub told a press conference.

"We are confident the body we found is that of Naya Rivera," said Ayub, pointing to the location, appearance, clothing and condition of the body.

Her body was being taken to a medical examiner's office for a full autopsy and confirmation of her identity from dental records, though no other missing persons have been reported at Lake Piru, he added.

Rivera, 33, is believed to have accidentally drowned after renting the boat with her young son at the camping and recreational hotspot around an hour's drive northwest of Los Angeles.

She vanished on Wednesday afternoon, and a massive search involving divers, patrol boats and helicopters was launched after her sleeping son was spotted drifting alone in a boat on the lake.

The son later told investigators that Rivera had helped him into the boat before "he looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water," said the sheriff.

Ayub pointed to the lake's strong currents as a possible cause of a fatal accident.

"The idea perhaps being that the boat started drifting -- it was unanchored -- and that she mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat, but not enough to save herself," he said.

The lake has been closed to the public since Wednesday, with around 100 personnel, including the US Coast Guard and rescuers from neighboring counties, joining the search.

Search teams used footage from video messaging calls Rivera made from the boat before her disappearance, as well as interviews with her son, to scour portions of the lake bed for her remains over six days, with no success.

"We believe she was concealed within some of the shrubbery on the floor bed of the lake" before eventually floating to the surface due to natural decomposition, said Ayyub.

With less than one foot (30 centimeters) of visibility underwater in daylight, the recovery operation was a "complex search effort" even with use of sonar equipment, he said.

Rivera was best known for her role as high school cheerleader Santana Lopez in "Glee."

She starred for six seasons in the wildly popular musical television series set in a US high school that ended in 2015.

The "Glee" cast has been struck by tragedy before.

Actor Mark Salling took his own life in 2018, weeks before being sentenced for possession of child pornography.

Canadian castmate Cory Monteith died in July 2013 of an overdose of drugs and alcohol.
