London, Aug 6: After details of the spat between James Anderson and Ravindra Jadeja were leaked on Monday, former England player David Lloyd has said that MS Dhoni and Jadeja are superstars only at home and should be ready for "heaps of stick" during the fourth Test at Manchester.
Excerpts from the hearing conducted by ICC's judicial commissioner Gordon Lewis' have revealed that Anderson not only used the 'F' word for Dhoni and Jadeja, but also threatened to break Jadeja's teeth. That is sure to spice up proceedings at Manchester starting Thursday.
And Lloyd, now an expert commentator, believes the Indians will get a fair bit from the Old Trafford crowd.
"They may be mega superstars in their own country but they aren't here, and I wonder if they are getting a bit above their station," he was quoted as saying by Dailystar.
"Remember Darren Lehmann urging the Australia fans to give Stuart Broad plenty of stick? Well, I can guarantee that Jadeja will get heaps at Old Trafford," he added.
Both Anderson and Jadeja were found not guilty at the hearing and were cleared of all the accusations, especially in the absence of any audio or video footage of the altercation.
And now when it has also been revealed that Dhoni never wanted a settlement with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) over the issue, the English crowd is sure to rub the Indians the wrong away.
