Bengaluru, Dec 25: Some miscreants have attacked the state headquarters of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and set on fire several vehicles and other properties inside the premises of the party office in the wee hours on Wednesday.
According to CPI sources, the miscreants armed with petrol bombs attacked the office and set on fire several vehicles parked at the party office. Nobody was hurt in the incident, the sources said. Maintaining that the attack on the party office must have provoked by the party’s stand on the CAA and the NRC, the CPI have decided to stage a protest over the incident.
Terming the incident as the direct attack on democratic rights and the right to dissent the CPI had demanded an investigation and action against the miscreants, the sources added.
