New Delhi, Jun 30: Law Minister Sadanand Gowda is likely to be dropped by the Union cabinet among a few other ministers as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for a cabinet reshuffle.

dvsIf this happens, it would be the second time that Gowda is shunted out of a ministerial position. Prior to taking over as the law minister in November 2014, he was in-charge of the Railways. However, Gowda was perceived as lacking any big idea for the ministry and was seen as someone who was unable to get work done, according to a report published in a national daily.

The upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh could also have a bearing on the upcoming reshuffle, which is likely to happen by July 4, as Mr Modi's another foreign tour commences on July 5. As many as four prominent names from Uttar Pradesh, including Yogi Adityanath, Mahesh Sharma, Sanjeev Balyan and Raghav Lakhanpal, are reported to be doing the rounds for a berth in the Cabinet.

While Yogi Adityanath has frequented in the news for his public statements which have been termed as 'hate speech', Sanjeev Balyan is accused of being involved in the Muzaffarnagar riots of 2013. In fact, Balyan had raised the issue of the riots in February this year, when he campaigned for the BJP for the bypolls in Muzaffarnagar, according to reports.

Among other likely changes, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilisers Nihal Chand may be dropped from the government while Arjun Meghwal, a senior leader from Rajasthan, could be brought in.

The names of Navjot Singh Sidhu, Rameshwar Teli from Assam and Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Ajay Tamta from Uttarakhand are also doing the rounds. There is no representation from Uttarkhand in the Cabinet at present.

Party sources said more representation may also be given to Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Recently, Union Minister of State for Sports Sarbananda Sonowal took over as the Assam Chief Minister. Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla has been made BJP Punjab unit president.

Everyday shaitan rewards his fellow mates for the evil created among the people and society... But he rewards the best and first place to the one who make the people divorce and separation.
Similarly the evil doers are planning in the same level, the more u give hate speech and evil in the society U will be rewarded.

But infront of the CREATOR everything will be brought back ONE day, Just like he created us before... The day it will be accounted what is done in this earth .
And that day no one will escape even if he has mountains of Gold for bribe...
Justice will done to each and every individual on that day...
The OPPRESSORS may laugh at this stage cos of the mercy of ALLAH,
Our good deeds will be helpful on that day & our bad deed will haunt us permanently from that day... So do more good deeds instead of spreading hatred in the society.

Bengaluru, Feb 13: UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid quit the Boris Johnson government as part of a cabinet reshuffle unfolding on Thursday and has been replaced by Rishi Sunak, reports said.

Indian-descent Sunak, 39, who is married to Akshata, the daughter of Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy, was Chief Secretary to the Treasury since July 2019.

An analyst with Goldman Sachs before joining politics in 2014, Sunak, whose grandparents were from Punjab and emigrated to the UK from east Africa, is MP from Richmond (Yorkshire). He was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government in the Theresa May government.

Pakistani-descent Javid, who became the first Asian to become a Cabinet Minister when he was made Secretary of State of culture, Media and Sports in the David Cameron government in 2014 after stints as Economic Secretary to the Treasury (2012-13) and Financial Secretary (2013-14), was earlier the Home Secretary in the the Theresa May government.

He had then cleared absconding businessman Vijay Mallya's extradition to India in February last year following the decision by the Westminister Magistrates Court in December 2018.

Javid, who ran for Conservative Party leadership after May quit but lost to Boris Johnson, was made Chancellor by the later. In the reshuffle on Thursday, he was offered to retain his post if he fired all his advisors but declined and quit, the BBC reported.

Bengaluru, Jan 13: Right-wing organisations, along with BJP and RSS workers, will take out a massive padayatra in Kanakapura on Monday, protesting against the construction of a Jesus Christ statue.

The event organised by the Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) will witness a rally from the Aiyappa temple in Kanakapura to the taluk panchayat office, where a memorandum will be submitted to the authorities following a public meeting.

Ahead of the event, Congress leader D K Shivakumar, in a video message released on Sunday, urged the people of Kanakapura to maintain calm. The former minister cast apprehensions over the event scheduled on Monday and said provocative statements may be made to disturb peace and harmony in Kanakapura.

Shivakumar, who represents the Kanakapura constituency, said the motive of the meeting by the leaders and workers of the BJP and the RSS, along with seers of mutts, was to defame his constituency.

“If any remarks are made against me, my brother (D K Suresh) or people of different faiths in Kanakapura constituency, do not be provoked,” he urged.

“Members of the (Christian) community have prayed at the site for 400 years and are trying to install a statue of Jesus Christ. I have helped the community like I aided hundreds of temples and educational institutions,” he said.

Appealing to maintain peace, Shivakumar said that BJP and RSS leaders were free to petition anybody.

The BJP and right-wing organisations have objected to the construction of the statue at Kapala Betta, with the BJP government ordering a probe into how road, power supply and other facilities were provided to the hill. Recently, Christian leaders had petitioned Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to remove any impediments to the construction of the statue.
