Mumbai, Aug 21: She may be experimenting a lot with her fashion choices, but actor Taapsee Pannu says looking like a diva is not her aim and she will never let clothes define her personality. The 30-year-old star, who has lately been sporting edgy and out-of-the-box looks, says she does not go by the fashion trends and only wears clothes that she can manage easily.

In an interview, Taapsee says, “The credit of dressing me up goes to my sister-in-law, Devki, who is also my stylist. She stays in the US and styles me from there. She is pharmacist by profession and does styling for fun. “I openly say that fashion is not my main aim. It is not

that I constantly follow what’s happening in the world in terms of fashion. But I believe if you know how to carry yourself and follow your own style, you become fashionable. Devki knows my style, she knows what suits me. (But) My outfits will never overpower my personality. They don’t define me, I define them.”

The actor says she loves dressing up for events and getting clicked, but the trend of the airport-gym looks have not gone down well with her. “People are after the airport look, gym look, etc. It bothers me a lot. If I am taking a 5 am flight, I can’t afford to look fashionable. I am not a hardcore fashion person. I have made peace with it. I have decided I will wear what I like and not care about what the fashion police has to say. Still, it does stress me out. But it is an occupational hazard. Nothing much can be done about it,” says Taapsee.

The “Naam Shabana” actor today walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017 for designer Divya Reddy.

Taapsee slayed the runway in a floor-length embellished jacket worn over a delicately-embroidered sheer piece. The actor says walking the ramp has always been a nightmare for her, right from her modelling days. “I believe there are different expectations attached when you are a model and things are different when you are showstopper. When I used to model, I felt like a nameless body carrying clothes.

“So, now I really enjoy (it). I like the fact that a designer would create something for me or want me to represent their creation for the first time in front of the world. That makes me feel special. People will not look just at my clothes but also at my personality,” she adds.

Taapsee will next be seen in “Judwaa 2”. The movie, also featuring Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez, will release on September 29.

Mumbai, Jan 9: Actor Juhi Chawla on Wednesday said instead of constantly criticising the government, one should reflect on own conduct and talk about uniting rather than dividing.

The actor attended an event which aimed to counter "Free Kashmir (narrative), anti-India slogans, false propaganda and clear the misconception."

Juhi said as artistes, it's unfair to be questioned about incidents "just for a reaction" when they should be given time to truly understand the situation.

"We are going to work, thinking how to execute our task, then some incident happens somewhere and suddenly the media asks, 'what do you think about this?' We haven't understood the matter, people haven't understood the matter but you need a reaction.

"Let people understand, whether it's NRC or CAA, and what's is it about, why is this being talked about," Juhi told reporters.

The actor said it is sad that people talk about division more than unity.

"Everyone is quick to talk about dividing. Why don't we talk about uniting? Why does everyone say 'what is the government doing, why is it doing this?' but I say if you point one finger there then three fingers are at you.

Washington, Mar 11: Pop star Selena Gomez made some revelations about her personal life in a recent interview.

While explaining the lyrics of her song "Rare" on the 'Genius' YouTube channel, the 27-year-old said that there are times when she feels that she will ever be able to find a suitable partner for herself, reported Fox News.

"Some days when I wake up and I am annoyed and I am like, 'I am going to be alone forever.' But after that 15 minutes go away, I say to myself, 'I know that there is someone for everybody," the singer told in the seven-and-a-half minute long video.

However, she remains optimistic as she is still young and "this isn't the end all be all".

Elaborating upon the chorus of her song, Gomez opened up and said, "self-esteem and confidence is a constant struggle".

"It's getting better with time and age, but it will always be something that I'm working on," she added while explaining the lyrics further.

"So what I think is so important about this chorus is that it's acknowledging, 'Hey, I don't have it all. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I do know that I'm special,' and I think that is a humble approach of saying, 'Why don't you see that I am different?'" the singer added as reported by Fox News.

Touching upon her experiences from past relationships, she commented: "In certain relationships, I've heard and I've experienced and whatnot, I think men and women do it -- especially teenagers and young people in love -- is there's this satisfaction out of hurting someone because you know that they care. Purposefully putting someone down because they want to keep them at a level. I've had someone actually say that to me before".

Washington D.C., Jan 16: Barbara Broccoli, who has since long been the producer of the James Bond franchise, recently clarified in an interview that the 007 character won't be played by a woman in the forthcoming rendition.

Broccoli, accompanied by her half brother and fellow producer Michael G. Wilson, told Variety: "He can be of any color, but he is male."

She went on to say: "I believe we should be creating new characters for women -- strong female characters. I'm not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that."

According to Fox News, the current Bond hero, Daniel Craig, announced last November that he would cease to play the legendary character once he is done with the upcoming 'No Time To Die' movie that is scheduled for release in coming April.

Commenting on Daniel parting ways with the franchise, Broccoli said: "I'm in total denial. I've accepted what Daniel has said, but I'm still in denial. It's too traumatic for me."

Fox News reported last July that the British Actress Lashana Lynch could possibly star in the 2020 Bond flick, but such speculations were dispelled once the trailer for the movie was brought out last December.
