Mangalore, February 15: A fisherman has gone missing since Thursday after his boat collided with a foreign ship near Kasaragod.
He has been identified as Palani Swamy (35), resident of Velupuram of Tamilnadu.
Five other fishermen were rescued when the 'King Fish', a deep sea fishing boat owned by Mumthaz of Ullal that had capsized. The boat was brought to Mangalore on Monday.
The family members of Palani Swamy including his wife Vathsalavathi (28), three children Divya (5), Ranjith (8), and Rajesh (3) and his father have come from Tamilnadu to discover the body.
Despite massive search attempts, the body of Palani Swamy has not been found yet.
