March 13, 2011
Mangalore, March 13: The Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) will not put any kind of pressure on BJP led-state government, said national secretary of RSS, Suresh Joshi, on Sunday.
On the concluding day of three-day Akhila Bharatha Prathinidhi Sabha at Puttur, he said BJP and RSS have sibling relationship. Both follow same ideology but there is no rule that both should go on a same track.
“Differences can be addressed through ideological meetings but not through pressure,” he replied to a query on corruption charges against the state government.
“If the BJP suffered a set back by the corruption charges, that party only should analyse and not the RSS,” he said. The three days meeting completely focused on fight against issues of corruption and border issue with China, he explained and said corruption can only abolished through awareness. RSS will take the awareness as a means to control corruption.
The RSS will also initiate more actions to prevent untouchability in the society, he informed. “We had organised a mela, Mandala, for Scheduled communities and it was a successful event in Narmada river banks,” he added.
