Mangalore, June 27: Parvez Kasimji, the former municipal chairman and former Tanzeem secretary on Sunday unanimously elected president of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem - Bhatkal, a popular social organization.
The post was vacant following the death of Dr Badrul Hassan Muallim in a road accident recently.
Earlier, Tanzeem executive body forwarded three names including Mr Mohiddin Barmawar, Muzammil Kazia and Parvez Kasimji for the post of President.
