Belthangady, August 19: Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade has termed the anti-corruption movement under the leadership of Anna Hazare as “a good development.”
Addressing media at Dharmasthala near here on Mr Heggade opined that the fight of Mr Hazare is against corruption and not against the Central Government.
“We should not to create negative feelings among the people about this movement,” he said.
However he said that the movement would succeed only if it remains a fight against corruption.
Opining that, Jan Lokpal Bill will facilitate the prevention of corruption, he said: “We also should strive to reduce the corruption in our villages. People should get motivated in achieving this task.”
