After a full circle in Car Street, Sri Laxmivara Theertha Swamiji immersed the clay idol of lord Krishna in the Madhwa Sarowar of Srikrishna Temple.

Swamijies distributed 'laddu' and 'chakkuli', the tipical 'prasadam' of Srikrishnashtami to the thousands of devotees gathered infront of the temple.

Live performance by renowned drummer A. Sivamani around the Car Street was the special attraction. Shivamnani has been presenting live show before the huge gathering from 6 pm till night, at the vehicle parking area of Srikrishna Temple.

As the one of the three slippery areca pole cut in two, four persons climbing the pole in a competition fell down and injured severely.
