Mangalore, March 23: The Democratic Youth Federation of India activists on Thursday took out a procession in memory of Bhagat Singh, whose birth anniversary falls on Friday.
The DYFI activists wore masks of Bhagat Singh and marched holding candles. The activist leading the march held a torchlight procession. They marched from the office of the Deputy Commissioner to the Clock Tower Junction. The activists raised slogans about the need for commitment to work towards the development of the nation. The activists said they would keep alive the ideals that Bhagat Singh was known for.
DYFI Mangalore City president Imtiyaz, DYFI district secretary Dayanand Shetty and DYFI Mangalore City Secretary Santosh Bajal took part in the procession.
