Udupi, April 26: Udupi district administration has decided to distribute compensations to those who have lost cattle due to ingestion of toxins at Henberu village near Byndoor.
Nagaraj Maravanthe, Veterinary Officer, Byndoor, said on Wednesday that the district administration would distribute a compensation of Rs. 6.16 lakh to 17 families, which had lost 85 heads since April 11.
Dr. Marvanthe said the compensation would be given on April 27 in the presence of Byndoor MLA Lakshminarayana and Deputy Commissioner M.T. Reju. The compensation amount would vary from person to person.
