Mangalore, May 26: E.P. Kunhi Ahmed, retired superintendent engineer with the Kerala Electricity Board and a native of Kannur, died here on Saturday morning following a heart attack.
He was 70. A resident of Shivabhag in Mangalore, Ahmed complained of chest pain early in the morning and was immediately rushed to the Indiana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He is survived by wife, three daughters, including gynecologist Dr. Shmeem Hafeez, and a son.
