Mangalore, June 10: The launching ceremony of Swaroopa Childhood Centre cum Basic Family School was held at Abhayashraya, Kodialbail, Mangalore, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chakravarti Sulibele, Convenor, Jago Bharat, said that students who score less marks are generally considered useless while in fact, they are the most talented ones. Many dropouts had made it big with their innovative ideas, he said, lamenting that parents are training children to merely look for jobs in other companies while in fact every child has the ability to explore things and carve a niche for himself.
Stressing on the need to give enough attention and qualitative time to children, Mr. Sulibele said that many parents are neglecting this crucial aspect citing busy schedules.
Hiremagalur Kannan, Scholar and Gopadkar, Director, Swaroopa, and his wife Sumadkar were present.
The school intends to provide a platform for children to improve their memory skills, self-study, friendly teacher-student relationship, and innovative learning material.
