About 11 lakh students appeared for AIEEE 2012 across the country. All these students competed to be eligible for seats available in 30 National Institutes of Technologies and other government funded institutions. After the country's prestigious engineering examination IIT-JEE, AIEEE is considered to be the next best choice for enthusiastic students aspiring to take up careers in engineering.
Severine Rosario, Principal of CFAL said that they had trained 30 students in their second batch that lost for two years consisting of 1400 hours of class room training, testes and mock exams.
The NIT's are the most prestigious engineering institutions in India and are renowned throughout the world. AIEEE is the entrance exam for the NIT's and it tests candidate's proficiency in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Admission would be granted based on all India rank, category rank and the choices submitted by the candidates.
