IFF-ACCESS India hold career guidance programme

Dammam, March 1: India Fraternity Forum in association with ACCESS India organised a career guidance programme for class X and class XII students recently at Paragon Hotel Auditorium in Dammam.

Career Guidance programme helps individuals to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to identify options, explore alternatives and to succeed in society.

It was acomprehensive, developmental program designed to assist individuals in making and implementing informed educational and occupational choices.

Ismail Hassan, official trainer of ACCESS (Advanced Centre for Career Education and Social Service) and lecturer in Salman Bin Abdul Aziz University, Wadi Al-Dawasir (KSA), delivered the comprehensive guidance program to students of grades ten and twelve in a manner that prepares students for post-secondary opportunities.

Mr Hassan mainly explained about the institutions, syllabuses and courses available in India both national and international level. “The government’s approval of the course / Institution has to be confirmed prior to join”, he reminded.

A number of students from different states participated in the programme and have made maximum utilization of the program. During the session, parents and students got opportunity to understand about the courses and institutions available in India for higher studies related with medical, engineering, journalism, sports, civil service, etc, and the fee structure as well.

The programme was started with Quran recitation by Ameen. Abdul Waheed Hyderabad presided over.

IFF-Eastern province President Moosa Kutty, IFF representatives Mohammed Faisal, Muhammed Ashraf, Abdusalam of Tamilnad, Karnataka and Kerala respectively were also present on the Dias. Nazrul Choudhry Secretary IFF-Urdu chapter delivered vote of thanks.

Imthiyaz, Anees Ahmed and Anwar Sadath were the organising committee members who worked for the success of the programme, stated a press release.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Dubai, Aug 7: ‘Nama Tuluve’ Purushotham Salian, a staunch stalwart who always supported humanity and a strong pillar for Tuluvas in Dubai, passed away August, 4 at Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain. He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain some time ago. He was on the last stage of illness which was not detected earlier.

His funeral last rites were conducted on Thursday August 7 at Jebel Ali cemetery in Hindu rites with a few of his family members present. Due to Covid pandemic, neither his body was able to be flown back to hometown nor could his two children come down to attend the funeral. However, it was said that his wish was to be cremated here in Dubai which unknowingly sometime back he whispered to one of his friends.

Purushotham had few years ago, survived a heart attack and fought back his life, though it had a minor paralytic effect on him. Even though, till recently he used to do his day-to-day work normally. He was a hard working personality and owned a readymade garment shop in Ajman and Dubai mostly taking care of clients with requirement of uniforms and coveralls. His dedication towards work was always appreciated by his clients who used to get their things delivered on time always.

He was never a publicity person and was helping the poor and needy in whatever ways he could silently. He strongly supported the community and was associated with Nama Tuluveru and Billawa community with commitment. He used to voluntarily come forward for the ground work of various functions of the community and used to be there until it was done perfectly.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.
