IFF helps cancer stricken Shimoga man fly back home

Riyadh, March 20: India Fraternity Forum helped Khader Ali, a resident from Shimoga who was struggling to return home.

Khader Ali had gone Saudi Arabia three months ago after possessing a company visa from a reputed company in the Kingdom with a dream to fulfill the requirements of his family.

But unfortunately his dreams shattered when he was asked for medical test before processing the Iqama, the blood test proved that he was suffering from cancer. Khader was left helpless and moreover shocked with the outcome of his medical report.

Due to this reason he was able to work only for a month with a very low monthly salary of 500SR. He had no money to return back home for his further medical treatment.

Khader Ali lives in a rented home in Shimoga with his wife and 3 children. He had paid a ransom of Rs 60000 for the visa with a intention to earn a decent living source to his family.

When the incident was brought to light of IFF Kamees Mushaith of IFF plunged into action immediately. They visited the company officials and convinced them about his critical and helpless condition and succeeded to retrieve 3 months’ salary and return ticket to Khader from the company.

Mohammed Taslim Hafin, one of the company employees also cooperated with India Fraternity Forum members.

Finally Khader was sent exit back to India after the efforts of IFF. India Fraternity Forum, Kamees Mushait Karnataka Chapter had also collected money for his medical aid in India and successfully handed over by Rahamuttala IFF President to Khader Ali during his departure to India.

The dedicated efforts of IFF were highly applauded and a heartfelt gratitude was given by Khader Ali who prayed for the success of IFF.

Jals-e-Uchila get-together held in Dammam

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Indian Social Forum helps perform last rites of TN expat who died in Qatar

Doha: Selvam aged 46 son of Subramanian hailing from Panakulam Village, Alangudi, Pudukkottai District in Tamilnadu province who worked as a technician, died in Qatar on April 24.

Due to challenging situation prevailing in both India & Qatar for body repatriation services, especially in Covid-19 atmosphere, Family is unable to progress further for past 2 months. At his stage Family of the deceased met Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Pudukkottai office bearers and requested to intervene and help out, and also agreed to bury the body in Qatar itself.

Hence, SDPI delegates communicated with well-known Indian Expatriate welfare Organization - Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF). QISF General Secretary Basheer Ahamed, Secretary Abdullatheef Madikeri and team collected the required documents from the family of the deceased and managed to clear all the necessary formalities from the police department, Health Department, Embassy of India and Hamad Medical Corporation within a short period of time and arranged for a peaceful burial of Mr. Selvam in Dukhan cemetery.

Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurates campaign for 20th ‘Learn the Qur'an’ conference

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.
