IFF announces its panel for IIS Dammam managing committee election

Dammam, April 24: The India Fraternity Forum has announced its candidates for the forthcoming IIS Dammam Managing Committee Elections.

In a press release issued here, the IFF Eastern Regional Committee has requested all parents of IIS Dammam to cast their votes to the following candidates for better progress of prestigious Indian School in Dammam and for good future of kids studying there.

The candidates are Abdullah Manjeri (Kerala), Haradwala Mohammad Farooque(Gujrath) , Dr Khurshid Anwer (Bihar), K M Thirunavukkarasu(Tamil Nadu), Mohammad Abdul Waris(Andhra Pradesh), Mohammad Omer Zaman Khan(Andhra Pradesh),Nazeer Mohammad Zahid(Kerala).

IFF Eastern Region Co-ordinator Moosa Kutty (Kerala) and Secretary Mohammad Faisal(Tamil Nadu), stated that the decision about the candidates to be included was taken after discussion with the candidates.

IFF invited all candidates for discussion and all except three had fruitful discussions separately with the panel of IFF Dammam leaders from different states headed by Abdul Waheed (AP), Anwar Sadath( Karnataka),Nazrul Islam Choudhary (Assam),Parvez Ahmed (Bihar),Abdullah Ali (Kerala), Sayeed Mohamad (Maharashtra) and Afsar Husain( Tamil Nadu). The decision was made considering the need for a new managing committee accountable to the parents and Indian Community, with a capable team including academicians, management professionals and experienced hands to enable it to address the recent issues alarming parents of IIS Dammam.

IFF have also suggested a few guidelines to the candidates urging them to try their level best to accomplish and to update parents time –to –time with transparent communication by forming a platform for parents, teachers and Managing Committee members.

Forum has formed a sub-committee under Mohamad Faisal Tamil Nadu for a wide campaign among parents from various communities of different states of India in Dammam, Khobar and other regions to promote its candidates.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dubai: Karnataka Sports & Cultural Club (KSCC) distributed Eid Kit across the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah to the ) needy people on Eid al Fitr.

KSCC President Mr. Mohammed Ismail Said: “Eid is a Symbol of Gratitude and Unity. As the last few weeks have been hard for each one of us, we wanted to stand in solidarity to celebrate Eid, by helping labours and needy people. He also said that “We are together to be part of UAE. Serving these meals is our core social responsibility."

KSCC recently conducted humanitarian services during COVID-19 pandemic in 2 phases and conducted Blood Donation Drive. They have also planned to conduct next Blood Donation Drive on 25th May, 2020.

The KSCC main objective is to develop the expatriate community into a well-nourished section of society in the areas of social, sports and cultural activities.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
