The event is all set to happen at The Football Grounds of The Indian High School, Karama, Oud Metha Road, opposite St Mary's Church, Dubai on October 5. The main strategy being charity, which Nama Tuluveru UAE have being doing all these years, this year too during the 'Tuluvere Parba 2012' they will be focusing main on charity. While the proceedings of the 'Tuluvere Parba 2012' will go to charity back home, the organizers will be additionally putting up a stall on charity collection.

During the day-long event there will be a stall exclusively to collect used computer sets, computer game toys, play stations and garments, all of which are in usable condition and well-packed. The organizers are planning to distribute the items to the needy people, poor homes, small voluntary institutions and ashrams back in India. Most of us would have extra computers, toys and garments which are as good as new but kept unused at home. These kind of things may be of much use to the poor homes and institutions which may not have the privilege to have them back home. So those who wish to donate such items to the poor homes in Mangalore, India can bring them during the festival and deposit at the charity counters which will register the donors' names on the spot. These items will be shipped to Mangalore and will be distributed to the needy institutions free of cost by Nama Tuluveru UAE as part of their charity work. The donors will be recognised and remembered by those institutions which will make use of the items.

The organizers have also arranged to have a blood donation campaign as part of their programme. The mobile blood donation unit from the Sheikha Latifa Hospital, Dubai Blood Donation Centre will arrive at the venue at around 3 pm and will be there for a few hours to collect blood for the needy Thalassemia patients. Those who are willing to donate blood for the noble cause can do so during this event, as a humanitarian social service for the land where we work and stay. The donors will be given a donor card in appreciation of their humanitarian service by the health authorities.

It is indeed heartening to know that for the first time a group of special needs children will arrive all the way from Saanidhya Special Needs School, Mangalore to present a Tulu folk skit and dance in the UAE. These enthusiastic children have already performed in Japan, Germany and other parts of the world, winning much applause and appreciation. It would be a great opportunity to see them performing for the first time in the UAE, which would be a credit to them as a fond remembrance and appreciation by all those who witness the event.

The organizers assure a fun-filled event with full of surprises the whole day in the lush green open football ground of Indian High School, Dubai with ethnic food stalls, game stalls, activity stalls, charity stalls and cultural activities on the stage being put up by various associations of Mangalore in Dubai, who are all geared up for the forthcoming event. An event which will be jointly presented by various communities and will be remembered as the first-ever 'Sarva Dharma Milana' in UAE.

Many more surprises will be announced in the media in the coming days and the organizers have appealed to the people living in the UAE to reserve the day for this grand programme with family and friends to have a glimpse of Tulu culture and tradition.
