Dammam: IFF holds seminar on Message of the Prophet

Dammam, Feb 6: India Fraternity Forum-Dammam as part of its Seerathunnabi campaign organized a seminar on ‘Prophet Muhammad and his message’ at Badr Al-Rabie Auditorium Dammam recently.

The programme began with Qira’ath by Abdussubhan and welcome speech by Sharfuddin, President, IFF Dammam Division.

Mohammed Sherief delivered key note address on the topic of ‘Prophet Muhammad and his Message”. He said that Prophet Muhammed had revolutionized the whole community. Prophet not only spread the message of Islam but also led the life as a role model for entire mankind.

Abdul Kader, IFF Secretary, Dammam Division proposed vote of thanks. Mansoor Gurupur compered the programme.

This was the second programme as a part of two week long IFF campaign “Seerathunnabi” at Dammam. The campaign will conclude in Jubail next week with a programme ‘Social Reformer-Prophet’

Kuwait: India Social Forum holds blood donation camp

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period.

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

KSCC holds blood donation drive in Dubai

Dubai: A blood donation drive was conducted by Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) at in Al Wasl Club Stadium here on Friday, 26th June 2020.

The drive started around 1:00 pm and continued till 4:00 pm as per schedule provided by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Blood Donation Centre and 60 people donated blood to support the Blood Bank. The drive was well organised by maintaining social distance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As blood cannot be produced but only can be donated, this drive will help many patients in need of blood during emergencies. Donors were also feeling proud and happy at this moment thinking of saving someone’s life.

DHA Blood Donation Centre staff carried out the screening and testing done in very well manner keeping social distancing during this pandemic. Volunteers of KSCC were also helping the staff to keep people in safe distance and to make this drive a success.

KSCC Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi and other office bearers were present at the event venue. KSCC thanked the volunteers, Community Development of Authority (CDA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Blood Donation Centre, Government of Dubai and Al Wasl Club Stadium for making the event successful.
