Karnataka Cup-2013 begins from today

Doha, Mar 17: Karnataka Sangha Qatar is organizing its 4th Invitational Cricket Tournament- "Karnataka Cup 2013", from March 17 to 28 at Old Ideal School Ground in Qatar.

The event will see Qatari Sports Icon, bronze Medalist at recently held London Olympics and Dakar car Rally champion Mr Nasser Salih Al-Attiyah as the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony.

There are 12 teams participating in the tournament. Pool A will have QDC, Rawal County and Tuskers in it while Pool B will have Al-Muftah, Commercial Bank and Qatari Diar. Pool C will see Hanan, Masrafal Rayan and M Pallonji. Pool D will have Kia Motors, New Design ad Tulukoota.

The matches will commence at the Ideal School Grounds on March 17th, 6:30pm . All the participating teams are requested to be present on time for the grand opening ceremony at Old Ideal Indian School Ground on March 17th at 6:30pm.

The match schedule would be announced after the opening ceremony.

KSQ has informed that former all-rounder of Indian team Sunil Joshi,  will be guest of honour for this year's closing ceremony and he will be present during semi-finals and finals of the tournament too.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
