IFF welcomes Mangalore – Dammam direct flight

Dammam, Mar 18: India Fraternity Forum has welcomed the commencement of Air India Express direct flight operation between Mangalore and Dammam from next month.

In its press release issued here, IFF Karnataka Chapter, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, appreciated the effort of different organisations, media outlets, politicians and social activists in pressuring the authorities concerned establish direct aviation link between two destinations.

It really proved that collective effort of NRIs in Saudi Arabia will triumph in all times to accomplish such great goals, it said.

IFF hopes that the dream of connecting Riyadh and Jeddah direct flight to Mangalore will also become true soon, the release said.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.
