Barwa Bank backs Toastmasters’ mega event ‘TAC-Q 2013’

Doha, Apr 10: Barwa Bank has extended its support to the Toastmasters event, Toastmasters Annual Conference, Qatar (TAC-Q) to be held on April 19, 2013.

In a press release, Toastmaster Saquib Raza Khan said that Barwa Bank that has been awarded and recognized as the Best Domestic Corporate bank as well as the bank for the Best Branding has confirmed their contribution and cooperation in conducting the Toastmasters annual conference, as the Platinum sponsor for the event.

The Toastmasters event is scheduled to be held on 19^th April 2013 at newly built DPS MIS School premises in Wakrah. The event, that is conducted every year, consists of Speech Contests in four Categories, viz humorous Speech, Table Topics, Evaluation Speech and International Speech Contest. The winners from these categories will be representing Division E, Qatar at the District Toastmasters Annual conference, Dubai in May.

Every year, Toastmasters Annual Conference is attended by the toastmasters fraternity in Qatar and is considered to be the biggest event of the year. This year it is expected to have more than 600 attendees for the conference, including the Country Ambassadors, International Director of Toastmasters, District Governors, other important dignitaries of toastmasters and esteemed guests. It will be a whole day event with lot of entertainment along with the educational sessions. This year, a mascot, named “TORRY” has been introduced to represent TAC –Q 2013.

The TAC Q Chair Toastmaster Saquib Raza Khan gave assurance that this will be one of the best Annual Conference and the TEAM is working Day-in / Day-Out to accomplish this Goal.

The Division Governor for Qatar, TM Manzoor Moideen has asked all the Toastmasters and General Public to attend this event and join this forum to improve their Leadership & Communication skills.
