Dubai, Jul 28: Dubai International Quran Awards presented by Dubai Government had a touch of Karnataka in it with special invitee of the programme, Karnataka Wakf Board President N K Shafi Saadi delivering his talk in Kannada.
Abdul Latheef Saadi Payassi delivered his talk on ‘Manukulakke Margadarshi Pravaadi’ and said that in the present day contaminated world, selfishness has taken over all human emotions and with dwindling moral values, a father himself resorts to killing his own child.
“In this situation each one of us have to follow the values laid down in Quran to lead a righteous life,” he said.
All India Muslim Scholars Association General Secretary Kanthapuram A P Aboobakar Musliar, Kerala Jamiya Saadi Shariyat College Principal A K Abdul Rahiman Musliar, Sayyed Umarul Farooq Al Bhukari , K P Aboobakar Musliar Pattuvam among others were present.
