Hosts India have won the inaugural Blind Cricket Twenty20 World Cup by beating rivals Pakistan by 29 runs in the final in Bangalore.
Pakistan's only defeat in the competition came after India posted 258 and defended that total by restricting Pakistan to 229 in reply in a high-scoring match.
Pakistan had gone into the match following eight wins in the group stage - including beating India by eight wickets - and a comprehensive defeat of England in the semi-final but were unable to maintain their perfect run.
India had only lost to Pakistan in the group stage and thrashed Sri Lanka in their semi-final.
The victory is India's first in a World Cup final after they lost to Pakistan in the 2006 World Cup and it mirrors their able-bodied team's achievement in winning the first ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007.
