Mangaluru, Oct 12: Team Physiotherapist Mangalore organised fruit distribution programme at Govt Wenlock Hospital (Paediatric Care) on the occasion of the birthday of U T Khader, Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge.
Fruits were distributed among 80 paediatric patients.
Dr Mohammad Suhail, Dr Yaseer, Dr Saugat, Dr Nawaraj, Dr Urope, Dr Showkat, Mr Deepak Pillar, Mr Laveesh Shetty were present.
Bengaluru, April 3: Central Crime Branch (CCB) Bengaluru has arrested two persons for allegedly possessing illicit liquor.
The probe team also allegedly seized bottles worth Rs 1.25 lakhs from their possession on Thursday.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation into the matter is underway, Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police informed news agency.

Mangaluru, May 5: Covid-19 pandemic has caused widespread economic devastation in the country. Many people have lost their livelihood. All sectors of the economy are in distress. One Lakh towards Covid-19 relief.

Vilas Kumar and Treasurer Sri Maroor Shashidhar Pai handed over two cheques for Rs. 50,000/- each favouring ‘PM Cares’ – the Prime Minister’s Covid-l9 Relief Fund and ‘Chief Minister Relief Fund Covid-l9’ of Karnataka respectively to Smt. Sindhu B. Rupesh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of D. K. District at her office in Mangalore on Monday, May 4, 2020.
