The ceremony, which was held in the Club House of the apartment complex, was a very private affair with only the family members in full attendance. Very few people from the film fraternity, including directors Jacob Varghese, Pawan Wodeyar and S Narayan, wished the couple on the occasion.

The couple have been seeing each other for a while and the two decided to tie the knot after a formal consent from their respective families.

Raghu and Anu said they couldn’t be happier. Raghu said the wedding was formalised only a month ago. “I was shooting until April 19 and we fixed a date only after that,” he said.

He said he couldn’t have found a better companion than Anu. “I am a very private person who prefers to keep things low key and Anu understands and respects this side of me. Anu and I have both had our ups and downs in our respective lives and now, I think I’ve finally found someone who I can connect and relate to,” said Raghu, who termed the wedding a blessing in disguise.

Anu said their parents had given them the complete freedom to decide when and how they wanted to formalise their relationship.

“It all happened so quickly,” said Anu, still gushing in excitement. She added, “Both our parents literally pushed us to settle down as quickly as possible and not keep postponing the wedding. It was just a matter of time,” says Anu.

Asked if she would continue to act, Anu said, “I’ve always been choosy about the kind of roles and projects I have wanted to work in. Nothing has changed and I will continue to work at the same pace.” She pointed out that working on good scripts will remain her priority.

Anu, who started as a child actor in Kannada films, hit big time with films like ‘Snehaloka’ and ‘Soorappa’.

Raghu Mukherjee, a model-turned-actor, made the headlines when he won Grasim Mr International and Mr India titles. He stepped into Sandalwood with ‘Paris Pranaya’ and followed it up with hit films like ‘Savaari’, ‘Dandupalya’ and ‘Jessie’.

New Delhi, Jan 9: A Delhi court Thursday directed the makers of the Deepika Padukone starer feature film 'Chhapaak' to give credit to acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal’s lawyer in the movie.

Additional Civil Judge Pankaj Sharma said it was necessary that advocate Aparna Bhat's contribution is acknowledged.

"This Court is of the considered view that facts are indicative that the plea of the plaintiff for interim injunction is well-founded and it is necessary that her contribution be acknowledged by providing on the slide on the actual footage and the images, the line 'Aparna Bhat continues to fight the cases of sexual and physical violence against women' during the screening of the film.

"The said line on screen maybe with a rider that the same is with the court order," the judge said.

Advocate Bhat filed the application saying that despite representing Agarwal in courts for several years and helping in the movie-making, she was not given credit in the movie.

She said the filmmakers took her help in the entire process of writing and shooting the movie, but did not give the credit.
