Mumbai, Dec 4: B-Town actor Saif Ali Khan, who is also the Nawab of Pataudi lives a lavish life and his lavishness garnered limelight when some reports suggested that the 43-year-old has bought some floors of a building that is just opposite to his residence, Fortune Heights in Bandra in Mumbai.
As per reports the actor has bought four floors from the building. The building has an apartment on every floor that spreads over an area of 3,000 sq feet. The apartment costs Rs 12 crore each that means Saif paid Rs 48 crores for the 4 apartments he bought from the building.
A source close to the development said, "Saif likes to live in spacious surroundings. While he and Kareena have been living in their Bandra apartment for many years now, they now feel the need for a bigger space, so the couple have invested in a new home. Saif has fancy plans for their new abode. He wants a terrace-garden on one floor, a swimming pool on the another and gym in another. There is also a plan for a big library for his many precious books."
The source added, "Both Saif and Kareena have discussed their expectation with architect and interior designer Nozer Wadia (who has designed homes for celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Gautam Singhania and Arjun Rampal) and he will be designing their new home. Kareena is looking into every aspect of the designing this time. One of the four apartments will be ready by mid 2014 and the couple plans to shift and give their current residence on rent."
So, let's just wait to see when the royalty shifts to the new dwelling.
