Saif_Ali_Khan_copyMumbai, Mar 17: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is a regular feature as the show-stopper at fashion shows, has said that her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, stays away from ramp walk as he does not like it much.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is a regular feature as the show-stopper at fashion shows, has said that her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, stays away from ramp walk as he does not like it much.

"He is now in Chandigarh... he is working. We (Saif and I) walked for Manish once. He doesn't like taking the ramp too much. He is quite excited when I walk the ramp year after year," Kareena said in an exclusive interview here.

Kareena walked the ramp here tonight as a show stopper for the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week. This time she walked for designer Rajesh Pratap Singh.

"It is great that Lakme has chosen me as their brand ambassador. For the last five years, I've walked the ramp for them for the grand finale. It is synergy that is synonymous with Kareena now. I wait year after year for them to come with fantastic designers, this time they had Rajesh Pratap Singh," she said.

"It is great to walk the ramp as I am an actor and not a model. But it is one night in the year when I feel I am in Paris," she added.

Kareena said she does not feel nervous any longer while walking the ramp.

"Whatever I do, I do with the utmost passion," she added.

Talking about what she was wearing, Kareena says, "It is very futuristic and dramatic. But it is very comfortable to wear, I can walk the ramp freely."

She said her style lies in the fact that she is confident and never follows leading trends but lives life on her terms.

"I am most comfortable in track pants and T-shirts. My wardrobe is casual and that is the way I am. But it is fun to dress up once in a while," she added.

LFW, which began on March 12, ended here today.
