Salman does not like girls doing bold roles: Zarine Khan

Mumbai, Dec 12: She may have featured with Salman Khan in the song "Character Dheela" but actress Zarine Khan says the superstar does not like when girls do bold roles on screen.

zkZarine, who was recently seen in a bold avatar for her latest erotic-thriller "Hate Story 3", said she is yet to ask the "Dabangg" star if he has seen the film as she is intimidated by him.

"I have no idea if he has seen the movie. I have been busy with the promotions and he was busy too. Honestly, I didn't even ask him if he has seen the film because I am a little intimidated by him. He does not like girls doing these roles so...," Zarine told PTI.

The 28-year-old actress is not worried about being stereotyped in bold roles as she said, despite starring in an adult film, she has been offered a "comedy and a women centric" movie.

"Getting stereotyped is an actor's choice. 'Hate Story 3' was not only an erotica but also had a very strong storyline to back it up. It wasn't just bold. So there is no question of being stereotyped, as I have been offered a comedy film, a women centric film too."

The actress is elated with the response to the movie and says she would love to feature in the next part of the "Hate Story" franchise.

"I would love to be a part of the franchise. But they usually do not repeat their actors. But yes, if I get another chance, I would love to do it."

Mumbai, Jul 31: Maharashtra Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Friday said that the Enforcement Directorate should carry out an investigation in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case.

"There is a huge public sentiment about handing over #SushantSinghRajput case to CBI but looking at the reluctance of State Government, atleast @dir_ed ED can register an ECIR since misappropriation and money laundering angle has come out," tweeted Fadnavis.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said that no FIR had been registered in Maharashtra yet and that the case must be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

"There is a confrontation between two states and there has been no FIR registered yet in Maharashtra. Chirag (Paswan) had spoken to CM Thackeray that there should be CBI probe. All political leaders are demanding for it. It should be handed over to CBI," Paswan said.

A team of the Bihar Police that arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday, recorded statements of two persons, including actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, on Wednesday in connection with the case.

An FIR was filed by Sushant Singh Rajput's father against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on Tuesday.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.

According to the Maharashtra Police, statements of 41 people, including filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, film critic Rajeev Masand, director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and filmmaker Aditya Chopra have been recorded in the investigation so far.

Washington, May 26: Making a slight change to the name of their newborn, Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his singer girlfriend Grimes have now named their first child X AE A-Xii.

The difference is only in the numeral part of the name which is now written in the Roman format.

Earlier this month, the celebrity couple hogged headlines for naming their son X AE A-12.

The change in the name came when an Instagram follower of the Canadian singer asked if she had considered changing the name of the child and she replied with, "X AE A-Xii."

However, the performer didn't provide further insight concerning the reason behind the change.

Canadian singer Grimes gave birth to her first child on May 4.

The 32-year-old had earlier taken to Twitter and explained the meaning of the baby's name.

Ernakulam, Feb 29: A court here on Friday issued a bailable arrest warrant against Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban for failing to appear before it for witness examination in an assault case filed by an actress.

Ernakulam Additional Sessions Judge Honey M Varghese issued the arrest warrant.

As per the court's direction, Boban can take bail from police station and appear before court on March 4.
